Leather Lace Up Shoes

I never normally write reviews but just had to write this one - I bought a second pair a few months after buying the first pair. And I _never_ buy a second identical pair! Why? Quite simply, these shoes are everything a man wants. They're stylish enough not to be boring, but sensible enough not to make you look like a fashion-conscious twerp. Best of all, the heels have a reassuringly authoritative 'click' (it's HORRIBLE being led across a shiny reception atrium by a client and listening to your rubbery shoes going squelch squelch squelch on the floor) and for £40 you feel smart in these shoes - smart with your suit and smart that you bagged a bargain. If you're thinking of buying these, buy two pairs. Trust me.

I bought a pair of these a few months ago and they were excellent so I decided to get another pair, identical, same size. However, when they came, they are clearly from a different supplier or something because the fit is half a size different. I had to return them and buy a half size bigger. Same was also the case for the pair my son bought for school - returned for a half size bigger. Thought M&S quality control would make sure the same shoe is the same size as previously sold when changing supplier.

Good quality shoes but need breaking in. Due to the design they are quite tight on your toes and lower part of the foot but I have used newespaper each night to stretch them and this has resolved the isuue. Good overall.

Looks very smart, purchased for my 18 year old for work.Look very smart with suit. True to size comfortable and good width.
