Brogue Shoes

Bought as school shoes for 14 year old son, lasted 4 months, complete waste of money!

I didn't realise these weren't leather on purchase. Even so I would expect an M&S shoe to be of a reasonable quality. After no more than a few weeks the side of both shoes started to rip and breaks in the material also developed at the creases on the sides. These shoes may be cheap but the quality is so poor it's a false economy in my opinion. On returning them to the store in Newcastle to complain all I was told they're only really for occasional use - ie wearing them more regularly meant it was my fault not the product. Not a practical work / school shoe at all. The worst shoes I've ever bought, poor show M&S. I've now had to bin them.

Bought these as school shoes for older teenage son. They looked so good I didn't realise they weren't leather. However, within 2 weeks they started to crack at sides where the feet bend when walking. Within a couple of months bits had started to peel off, they were scuffing and the edge of the sole was disintegrating. Had to throw them out within 3 months.
