Lace High Rise Butterfly Lace Shorts

I bought 8 pairs of these shorts thinking that they would be like my lace two-tone praline M&S ones which are the best knickers ever (comfortable/ flattering/ pretty) but were sadly discontinued. These were, unfortunately, a bit horrible. Flimsy lace and a baggy waist with no shaping at all. They are also Brazilian style which I hate but that’s probably because I haven’t got a bottom like that famous Aussie singer who is the same age as me. So disappointing ...and the knickers too. I’d buy 20 pairs of the old style ones, please bring them back!

The lace is very thin and fragile. These do not really offer any support. They stretch but offer no tension which means they just slip down. They are rather large too in terms of being true to size. A similar product was sold by M&S a few years ago and this was a far superior product as the lace was robust, the fabric being much more substantial and offered support. Many colours were available too. I wish M&S would make these available again, I would be willing to pay more for a product that worked well and was of better quality.

Love these knickers. They look pretty and have no VPL under clothes.

Nice looking, but a bit big!

These are not a patch on the style they are replacing. The lace is very flimsy, almost to the point of sticking your fingernail through it. Although they are true to size, the fabric makes them feel that they will fall down at any minute so I’d say buy a smaller size if you are going to go for them. I have kept them as I’ve been waiting years for M&S to bring them back in white or flesh but the drop in quality is disappointing.

I loved these knickers when I saw them online and were similar to some I had before. I like 'big knickers' but not dowdy! I'm between a 12 and a 14 but even the size 12 hung down at the back at the waist line as there just isn't enough elasticity in them.

I bought some all lace knickers from Marks a few years ago and really loved them as they gave such a smooth outline and were really substantial lace with lots of stretch so thought I would give these a try. The fabric is so thin and loose that they have no substance what so ever and do not have a shaped waist so that they simply fell down before I had left the house! I tried a smaller size and the same thing happened. Very disappointed indeed.

I bought this style of knicker quite a few years ago, I love them and still have them. When I received this order I was very disappointed with the material. The lace was quite flimsy & it feels like I’m going to put my finger through the lace when putting them on. Bring back the old style lace. M&S are known for quality, but not this time... I’d rather pay more & have decent material.

Great product and very chic when you want something a little different.
