Disappointing, do not buy
No, I don't recommend this
I bought these boots as school shoes during October half term. A week later there was a tear on one of the side seams so I asked for a refund/exchange. Customer service responded promptly, however, although I had sent photos of the fault, I had to go to the central store of my town to return the pair, which wasn't the most convenient thing. They exchanged the shoes with a new pair. Three weeks later, both shoes have lost some of the shiny coating on the toe area and the butterflies on the side are torn and nearly gone. Really disappointed with this purchase, the quality is very poor, do not buy.

Boots looked beautiful and had lots of compliments but soon the patent started peeling all over them and they now look very tatty. The peeling layers are now causing leaks when it rains! Will be returning for a refund

AVOID - Faulty product not fit for purpose

Please do not buy these boots. After 4 days of use, they are coming apart at sides and the top layer is peeling off. I have contacted customer services about this issue.

Quickly damaged

As other reviews have described, these boots are not fit for purpose as kids’ footwear. On first wear my daughter got a very small scuff to the toe and over the next few days the patent peeled itself away to form a massive area of damage. I was given a refund. I have replaced these with a less expensive pair of patent boots from a supermarket and not had any issues like this.

These boots look lovely but the patent material is not fit for purpose. My daughter had huge scuff marks on the toe on the first day of wear. We’ve had patent shoes from clarkes before and they’ve not scuffed at all.

Poor quality
Boots look lovely and fit well but first time wearing them my little girl came come and all the front of them the black shiny part is all scuffed. She’s not rough with her shoes and doesn’t drag them so I’m not happy. Had the shoes before and never had this issue.

I bought 2 pairs, one for my elder daughter (size 1) and they fit her perfectly, the other was for my younger daughter (size 10) but she could hardly squeeze her foot in to it so had to send them back unfortunately
