Sturdy but caused bad blisters

These are sturdy shoes, bought for my 14 yr old who plays football at lunchtime in his school shoes on a muddy grass pitch (!). They are certainly fit for that purpose except that on day one of wearing (after he'd worn them a lot around the house over half term) they gave him terrible blisters on his heels which a week on are still healing so he's not been able to wear them since. There is a soft ridge around the edge of the upper shoe - complete design fault. I've bought some patches to put on the backs where the heel in (inside) that I hope mean that when his blisters have healed, he might actually be able to wear these. But I wouldn't buy them again.

Luckily light as air fit as heavy shoes and not great to look at. Good round shoes so won’t squeeze the toes

very nice shoes but they scratch on the back, there is nothing to do simply the back of the shoe is poorly designed every time you walk it hurts, I did everything I found on the internet to organize this, but in the end, she refused to wear them. the way the shoe is sewn is wrong definitely needs some padding on that part

Initially I felt they may be too stiff and heavy but I was wrong- they softened and were extremely padded inside- my daughter loves them for year 6.
