Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT FOR THE PURPOSE I had been looking for a pair of house shoes, not furry, cosy, checked floppy, backless slippers but a pair of soft warm shoes I could comfortably wear at home without having to change them before opening the front door! Then I saw a friend in a pair of these. Exactly right, and where were they from - M&S of course. Ordering on line and collecting in store worked fast and well and they are just what I was looking for. One question though, how come clothes, slippers, handbags etc., can be made in navy blue but there are no navy blue leather shoes? No call for them? Rubbish! I am one of probably thousands of women who are calling for them. Come on M&S, show the way!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good Purchased these slipers for Step-Mum. Not as good a those purchased previously. The ribbon trim shown in the picture has been replaced with a piece of ribbed material and does not give the 'luxurious' look that thay had before. The price has gone up again and the quality is down. Please M&S look at these issues as you need to retain loyal customers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Any fault is mine--I have exceptionally slim feet They look just what I like ---flat, sturdy soles to pop outdoors for a moment, dainty, BUT my width problem was solved 2 years ago by M & S black round toed slippers--2 pairs in black with embroidery or a bow--have you changed your supplier? If so, that might explain it. You have finally recognised seriously large British ladies in your plus range of clothing, but not slim feet, which problem seems to have vanished in the UK. France, Italy, Spain all have slim sizes, but it would be a pricey shopping trip!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The wrong ones I was pleased to see the photo of the slippers as I thought they were the ones I usually buy, but these have not the rounded toe and good heel grip of the ones I like. I sent for two pairs as I thought I'd have enough to last over the winter. My heel keeps slipping out of the back and so one pair went back as I find that so annoying. But where are the rounded toe slippersI like? Have they been foolishly discontinued? Profoundly disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very cosy traditional pair of slippers This is the second pair of these slippers that I have bought for my 91yrs old mother in the space of about two weeks. Having previously bought her six pairs of different styles and sizes to try she chose the navy pair as they were extremely comfortable. So when I was aware that they were available also in this lovely colour I could not resist buying another pair. Well done M & S. My next task is to buy her some shoes!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small fit Bought these in the mink shade. I sent for sizes 4 and 5. My normal shoes size is 4 but I recall my last slippers in this style were small fitting and these were the same; the 5's a much better fit. A comfy slipper with a small heel which I prefer rather than totally flat. The bow on these is more of a corded material rather than the pretty ribbon on the other pair I had but only slippers after all!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for me Good quality and lovely shade. felt great when I started to wear them. Unfortunately, after about half an hour one of them stared to hurt around my bunion. I think it is probably to do with the angle of the heel. I would have returned them but having tried to wear them for a bit, I don't suppose I can. Shame really as I they are lovely slippers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish slippers After wearing them for just a week they went so big I couldn't keep them on my feet! Had I not cut all the labels out including those inside the slippers I would have sent them back. I am now looking for a pair of slippers that fit and look better than the Marks and Spencer slippers. I have never been so disappointed with an item from M & S!!!
