Ideal for the winter nights and mornings
I bought this to replace my existing M & S dressing gown which was beginning to show its age. It was made in the UK, which gives a good idea of its age. When did M & S last make garments in the UK? It's a good fit, although the sleeves are slightly longer than I prefer. It's excellent for the cold autumn and winter nights and mornings. One detail which was completely new to me was the long ribbons inside which are apparently to be tied to prevent the garment opening. I can't see the point of these as the traditional belt works perfectly well so I shall cut them off. They just get in the way. However, I am very happy with the garment.

Fantastic!!!
I bought this for my husband, his old towelling dressing gown (from M&S about 15 years ago!) was walking round the house on its own! He's a bit conservative so I wasn't sure about fleece but the moment he opened it he loved it. I was also concerned about its length because he is 6'4 and there was a longer length available. But no its perfect. Just below the knee, sleeves a perfect length and soooooo cosy. He adores it!

Good size good quality
I got this for my 15 yr old son. It well fits him yet there is still enough room. The length is long enough to wrap around the knee. The navy colour is deep and vibrant. The texture feels like cottony yet light and warm. If you are looking for something like cottony which feels friendly to the skin yet warm and not heavy, this is perfect. Recommend.

A drop in quality.........
Purchased as a replacement dressing gown for another older M&S one, I am disappointed by the quality and feel of this fleece type gown. It just feels nothing like the previous quality that was present. Thinner and not of the same quality in manufacture. Sadly this seems the case with a number of products now. If there had been a towelling one available in my size, this would have gone back!

Men's D. Gown
This could be an exceptional gown. BUT it is let down by one thing: It does not have enough wrap round. It is adequate, but that's all. It simply needs another 3-4" around the base, like a previous gown.
It is warm and comfortable.

Drop in quality
Having bought M&S dressing gowns for my sons over the years I bought another for a present. I’m glad I opened the parcel first as the fabric is much thinner than in recent years, the medium size is smaller than the small it’s replacing by 8”! The fabric certainly isn’t ‘super soft’; in fact I think it would be hard pressed to be ‘soft’.
I will be returning it and looking elsewhere.
I’ve spent £300-400 in M&S over the last 2 months, returning 90% of what I bought so it’s finally time to give up on M&S.

Nice soft lightweight dressing gown
Had a towelling dressing gown for years and wanted something lighter but warm to comfortably wear on an evening
This is nice and soft and fits well. I’m a very skinny male, around 6 foot and purchased a Small. Some people say the arms are too long, I’d say if you’re tall like me they’re a perfect fit as others I’ve bought in the past were way too short

Disappointing
Got to say I was really disappointed with this dressing gown. I ordered one for my Dad for Christmas but returned it as I wasn't happy with the quality of the fabric. The fleece was clumpy and tatty and just didn't have the look you would expect of new fabric. It wasn't particularly soft either. Just very underwhelming and not the sort of thing I wanted to give as a gift. I exchanged it for the checked fleece gown instead which was lovely and soft and far nicer quality for the same price.
