Sporty Mule Slippers is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Style over substance Sadly these had to go back (as the bow ones did) as the rubber heel cup had come though the padding after two days and I kept treading on it and it was painful. The padding under heel disappeared to nothing. This seems to be a continual problem with these "secret support" styles. I won't be bothering with M&S slippers again in the future, these are the third pair (two were SS) to go back. They are strongly made and I think if it weren't for the painful heel I would be very happy with them, they were very warm. They do come up small so if you are a 5 to 5.5, go up to a 6. If the heel area were redesigned they would be nice and washable also although I never got that far!! More stable padding and no nasty edges. I bought the navy/purple lovely colours.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from uncomfortable slippers Loved the thought of comfort step slippers. After 2 days of wearing them they hurt my feet and I could feel the hard base through them. I took them back very disappointed. I bought a 2nd pair in the same comfort step style and the day after i bought them a great big hole developed down the side where the stiching was meant to be. On the 3rd return visit we looked at the other slippers on sale in the same style and they were the same very poor quality stitching and felt uncomfortable. overall very poor manufacturing, very poor quality for m&s. Very disappointed

Rated 1 out of 5 by from More cost-cutting? Have been buying these slippers for years & as with other M&S products (shoulder straps on bras in particular) they suddenly seem to have changed and are now much smaller than they used to be + the support padding is very insubstantial / barely noticeable. I have a high instep & narrow feet & my shoe size is 4.5. For several years I have bought these slippers in a size 5 which have been quite roomy enough, I have now had to go up to a 6 which is ridiculous. Maybe it was just a bad batch but I doubt it somehow...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from secret support I have a problem with one of my ankles and find these deep slippers give the foot the support it needs. Have bought these slippers a few times over the years, or something similar, and find them hard wearing and comfortable to wear for my particular feet problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from marks you can do better ! I have bought this type of slipper from you for a number of years, sadly the quality is very bad. I am disabled and bought 2 pairs on 8 / 10 /14. I put them on and by Friday lunchtime 9/10/14 the RUBBER ON THE BOTTOM was coming away and sticking to my carpets, you could see it all over where I had been . I was due to collect Items on 11/10/14 and was going to bring them back but I have been taken ill, so at the moment unable to. and at £12.50 is not cheap?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sort the sizing out, please! I bought these slippers after being advised to get some indoor shoes that support your feet and thought these looked like they'd do the job at a great price. The slippers look ok BUT the sizing is hideous. I'm usually a size 7 and thought I'd size up to an 8, just in case. After having these slippers on for all of two minutes the back of my heel was overhanging the back of the shoe by quite a way. If the slippers didn't have a ridge inside where your foot is supposed to end they might have been marginally more comfortable, but there is no way I could wear these slippers comfortably. I gave them to my mum who has size 6 feet and they only just fit her, even though they are supposedly two sizes bigger. A total waste of money and a thorough disappointment. I usually love M&S for the quality and fit but this time they've got it so very wrong.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cosy in winter. I have been wearing these slippers throughout the winter because they keep my feet warm. I like the support sole with the non slip feature. However, the quality of these slippers is not good. A pair bought for Christmas only lasted 3 months, I bought 2 more pairs and have just thrown out the 2nd pair because they have fallen apart. At the price charged, this is not good enough. The main problem is the upper becoming detached from the sole.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice but small Had these last winter so thought buying a replacment pair this year would be simple. I bought a 6 even though I am usually 5 - 5.5 as I find with mules a bit of extra space stops you squishing the heel bit. But these in a 6 are very small. I know they will bed down in time but I have to be able to wear them first to get them to do that. Disappointing.
