Not a slim fit
I deliberately ordered a slim fit pair of these jeans, as the regular fit is too wide in the leg. However when I collected them from the shop and tried them on, they were still baggy. Afterwards, and in the presence of a M&S shop assistant, I measured the bottom of the leg (i.e. the hem) and it was 8 inches across, exactly the same as the regular fit. The shop assistant couldn't explain this.
Also the denim material had a visible four inch flaw right in front of the right hand side front pocket.
Needless to say I returned the jeans for a refund.

A happy husband!
After having tried so many jeans, known jean brands as well as M&S, this style is just perfect for someone with a normal figure but a bit of a belly. The shorter rise won't cut into the stomach and the slimmer leg means there are not acres of material flapping around legs and behind simply because the waist size is no longer that of Adonis. Quality/price comparison is also excellent.

Mens Slim fit stretch jean
Bought these for hubby. Much better fit for my husband than the regular fit. The fact that they are designed to sit lower on the waist means there is not as much material at the front (consequently less baggy) so he felt they were much more comfortable. Also really liked the slim leg fitting, much nicer and more flattering. Would definitely buy these again in a different colour. The little bit of stretch means they are comfortable around the waist. A reasonable price for a good quality pair of jeans. Excellent!

Slim fit jeans
Having got fed up of my other M&S jeans that were way too wide at bottom of the leg ( they looked like flared jeans from the 1970s, but were not ) I bought these. They are a slim fit in the leg, which is what I was after, and not too tight around the waist with the stretch doing its job. The downside is the fit around the crouch and bottom, as to me they are far too baggy with excess material around at the rear. I have never had this problem with other jeans from M&S.

Yet another pair of badly sized trousers
For years I have bought very many M&S trousers. However in the last 2 to 3 years I have been unable to buy any pair of trousers that fit.
I have a 33 inch waist but this pair of size 32 just fall off as I walk. They measure about 34 inches.
Size 30 is seldom seen in store. I recently internet ordered a pair and they came up very close to 30 inches. So I either have 30 or 34 which is just not viable
This is not a one off problem. In the last 3 years I must have tried a dozen different pairs of trousers always to the same end. Several pairs tried with a belt needed a fold in the waist band they were so oversize.

Decent fit
M&S jeans often seem to use a smaller 'inch': a 34-inch waist from M&S is about the same as a 33-inch from ... well, I probably won't be allowed to say. These jeans, with a 34-inch waist, match the competition, so I am no longer cut in half. The legs are what you expect from 'slim', and overall the product seems OK. It's a pity M&S doesn't do the jeans in slightly shorter lengths - I have had to pay nearly £20 more to have this pair shortened, which makes any price advantage in choosing M&S a bit suspect.

Good value jeans
I've had this style of Jean from M&S before and for me they are a good fit. If you have very little in the bottom department and have relatively thin legs then these are for you. They aren't hipster jeans so expect them a little higher on the waist but boy are they comfortable. Quality wise they are exactly what you expect from M&S.

Get the Sizes Right
Bought the Travel Jean, had to buy size 30" waist although I am always a 32". The waist sizes were all 2" more than the size stated. So when I wanted these Jeans I ordered 1 x 30" and 1 x 32" NEITHER of them fitted, 32" far too big, 30" would not even meet across, M&S should take a GOOD LOOK at their manufacturers because I for one will go else where.
