What has happened to the length of M&S trousers??
I have been wearing regular length M&S trousers and jeans for as long as I can remember and have always been able to buy them without wondering if they will fit or not. However, I have just bought these jeans and they are at least 2 inches too long!! I have reordered them in a short but wonder if they'll be too short. My mum has always been a short length and recently bought a pair of trousers and they are far too long too so I can only assume all of the lengths have been changed. There is nowhere to go after short so my mum can no longer buy trousers from M&S. Such a shame after all these years as the actual jeans are very good quality

They will be perfect in usual regular size
I ordered a size 10 by mistake. I have my moments. I am usually a size 12 M&S.
I could get the size 10 Jean’s on & zip them up. They are very stretchy. I could have worn them, but they were a bit too tight, giving me a muffin top.
So I have returned them & hope to order a 12. as I think my usual size 12 will be a perfect fit. I like the high waist & belt loops, I sometimes like a belt with jeans. I chose the longest length & the jeans appeared to be about the right length on me, in the 10. So I hope the 12 will be about the same length. The blue are a good denim colour, soft, stretchy & flexible. With a four way stretch. They don’t appear to be too thin, floppy or limp. They look as if they would wash well? But obviously I haven’t washed a pair as yet.

Where is my size?
Oh M&S you have done it again. I thought you may have learned your lesson a few years ago when you altered the sizing. Now we have to go through it all again! I always bought Per Una slim jeans, where are they? BRING them back please. I always had size 12 short, no problem, now once again you are trying to make me the bigger size of 14 with an inch longer leg, exactly as before. Now got to look elsewhere again. Please get the sizing back to as it was and please leave it alone!

BEST JEANS - PLEASE KEEP THIS STYLE !
Fantastic - at last some jeans that are stylish and comfortable. I have been waiting for this type of style for ages - High waist (much the best fit !) dark colour, bit of stretch and narrow,but not too tight legs. Please continue this style, all to often I look for jeans and cannot get this type of style at M & S. I am over 50 and do not want 'mid-rise or low rise' - so this style is perfect. Once again - PLEASE KEEP THIS STYLE !

Not so MAGIC jeans
Once again trying to find jeans that I like and they fit at M&S. Thought MAGIC ones might be good! I bought my usual size 10 in both short and regular length, because you don't seem to be able to get leg lengths to be consistent across the various jeans you sell. These jeans were too much on the tight side for a size 10, Short length was too short, and Regular length a bit too long. I also thought the material was too heavy. All in all disappointed again, and they were returned. It would appear your Quality Control needs improving to ensure sizings/lengths are consistent across your ranges.

Pleased I gave M&S one more go.
Having decided I was not buying M&S jeans any more after so many disasters with sizing and unavailability of non-faded jeans I spotted these on line and thought I would try just once more as they are non-faded. I am pleased I did as they are a true dark indigo colour and decent material. They also fit well with the wide waistband and 2 buttons. The only slight gripe I have is that as usual the lengths are slightly whacky and longer than they should be, but overall I am very pleased with them.

Lovely jeans but say Do Not Tumble Dry
I really like the style of these black jeans, especially the wide waistband with two buttons. Fully usable 5 pockets. The legs are quite slim, but not skinny. The 14 short fits me but I can sometimes take an M & S 12 short, so these are a bit smaller than some 14s. It measures a 32 waist and a 27 inch inseam. However, the washing instructions say Do Not Tumble Dry which worries me that these jeans might shrink in the length and there is no leeway as a 27 inch long inseam is just about OK. Some M & S jeans in short are a 28 inch inseam which I would prefer. I also prefer jeans that can be tumble dried. I just don't know whether to chance it, as tumble drying means the jeans are softer when dry, which I prefer.

What is happening to M&S sizes???
I always buy Standard length jeans from M&S (which according to their size guide is 31”) and they’ve always been a perfect length. Unfortunately these jeans are way above the ankle and actually measure 27.5” This is not the first time recently that I've had to return jeans to M&S for being too short. Unfortunately I’ll have to shop elsewhere for my jeans in future if M&S can’t sort their sizing out.
