Pretty but uncomfortableBought this bra after reading other reviews, in the past have found the sizing of M&S bras even twin packs to be very inconsistant - a quality concern you really need to address M&S. At first I was pleased, it fit, but have changed my mind after wearing it. I found it to be very uncomfortable but perservered thinking after a few washes it would change but I'm sad to say it hasn't, I can't wait to get home to take it off each time. I find the fabric on the back to be very scratchy and generally uncomfortable. So, it has been put to the back of my drawer probably never to be worn again - a shame because it's very pretty and reasonably priced.

Does what it says .....exceptional quality and fitA dressmaker recommended I try M&S for a minimiser bra as my dress was slightly pulled in the bust area and it couldn't be altered any further. This was my first time to purchase a bra from Marks and Spencers, as I usually tend to buy from a more expensive lingerie brand. However, after trying out this product I will definitely be checking out other bras from M&S. The item gave great shape and support and was very pretty on. It even felt more comfortable than my own bras, so it really is a good product for everyday wear. It also worked wonders on my dress - the dress was no longer pulled at the bust area and the perfect fit for me!

Best minimiser for yearsI have been buying minimiser bras for years with varying degrees of satisfaction. However, this is the best design for a long time, despite the fact it is seamed, which I normally don't like.
The non-slip straps give good support and the shape is generally better than most minimisers that tend to squash you down and to the side. Not the most alluring as a piece of lingerie, but looks good under clothes and won't let you down,
I have one in all presently available colours, but would like to see this in other seasonal shades as well as beige and black.
Please don't discontinue this one, M&S, because it's a winner!

A few problemsI own the old style of this bra and needed some new ones. I wish I hadn't bothered. They've gone from being the best bra ever to being ill-fitting.
They look pretty but they have a huge flappy area of fabric at the underarm. The old ones used to have the underwire come right to the top of the fabric, but now they fall a good inch short and that fabric is just flapping around looking ugly.
I didn't think the cup fit was as attractive a shape as the old ones either.
Not a bad bra. It's pretty and everything, but just not as good as it was. The straps are a bit short too (I'm 5'6" and had them at maximum)

Bit of glamour with comfort at last!I usually buy bras mainly for comfort - don't most of us if we are honest? But I needed a much nicer bra for my daughter's wedding. Mother-of-the-Bride needs to look her best! I tried on so many other styles of underwired bras from all the big name shops, and finally decided to try this from M&S. I was measured in store and I chose a couple of different styles and at the last minute picked up a minimser bra to try. I was so glad as this is a lovely bra, fits perfectly, and it is very comfortable. I tried it under my wedding outfit too and I felt so much more confident.

minimiser comfortI was surprised at how comfortable I found this underwired minimiser bra, Normally, now I am older (late sixties) I dislike underwiring, especially in hot weather, because it can pinch and rub the skin. If I had a choice, I would always choose a well fitted cotton mix bra without underwiring, but these days it is not so easy to get hold of them. I still don't know how this bra will affect me in the summer, so I will just have to wait and see. In the meantime, it feels good and I am happy with the shape and comfort it provides.

Misleading and incorrect picturesThe article pictured above is not the article ordered although the front photo is. The article I ordered was a flora lace minimiser not a textured jacquard lace. This led to confusion when I was ordering it at the Hayle branch both to the staff and me. You still have two different articles in this feedback message.
I took a chance and went ahead in the hope that the final picture was incorrect which, thankfully, it was. However it is slightly different from the original bras that I own. It drives me mad when I find something that I really like and that fits only for you to change it. And why oh why do I have to order even the most basic of underwear because my local branches (Weymouth and Dorchester) do not seem to recognise anyone under size 18 in their stock?

Great fit!For the first time in a long time I have found a bra that fits, makes me feel secure, looks good, and does what it promises....gives you a great shape! Best of all.....no straps that fall down!! I suppose one slight niggle is that because it's a minimiser, it has to be styled in a certain manner to help give you a good shape. This unfortunately means that wearing low-cut tops is a bit difficult as the lacey top peeps up in the front...but great comfort , feeling secure, and having a great shape are more important to me.
