Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slippers I buy slippers for my daughter as part of her Christmas present. She likes that style and I've kept her in slippers from M&S for years. The colours have become so dismal with stones or flowers stuck on! I used to buy your full foam based soft slippers for me in pink, etc but for some reason you decided that had to be changed to grey! Just because we get older we don't get more miserable. A pretty colour is nicer to wear. May I also request jumpers with small patterns on them i.e. butterflies or small flowers as they are so nice to wear,as long as neck isn't too big. For whatever reason somebody decides not to continue popular styles!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing M&S Slippers I purchased these slippers before Christmas and within a month of wearing them I had to return them as the upper was coming away from the sole. 2 months later I purchased a similar pair as I thought they were very comfortable and that the first pair had just been a "one of" faulty. How wrong I was. This time after wearing them for 3 days they began to fall apart with the upper and sole parting company. When I returned them once more I was told that it must have been a faulty batch, but I don't see how this could be the case as I had purchased the second pair some 2 months after purchasing the first pair and had to wait for them coming back into stock in the the store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from THE SLIPPERS ARE COMFORTABLE AND LIGHT TO WEAR I bought these for a female family member so the review comments are from Her:: The Slippers are comfortable, light to wear, seem well made and are a reasonable price. The new owner has size 5.5 to size 6 feet and the size 6 Slippers fitted perfectly. Ideally part of any review should also be how the slippers wear and how long they lasted - but obviously that is not possible when just beginning to wear the Slippers. However - We are lifelong customers of Marks & Spencer with about 90 years of shopping `loyalty` between my Wife and I - for good reasons - so we expect everything that we buy from you to be of good quality. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the usual quality Having purchsed these secret support slippers in the past and been extremely happy with them I asked for a new pair for Christmas. Sadly this version did not meet the usual standards. Firstly the slippers went baggy and loose and gave no support. Secondly the inside material has worn out already and i am walking on the inner construction. My previous pair lasted years but these sadly have barely lasted 6 month's. As they were a present i do not have the receipt. Please M&S can you revert back to the original design of these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mule Slippers I bought these as they were lovely and comfortable in the shop but having worn them for a few hours at home, the stitching inside made the sole of my bare foot very sore.. Why on earth would they put stitching on the inside so it rubs when you walk.? I ran my thumb over the stitching and found it scratchy and realised that was what was making my foot so sore. What a shame as they were so warm and comfortable. Don't yet know whether I will be able to wear them without socks. Can't take them back as I had removed the inner tags. Definitely wouldn't have bought them if I'd realised, but I had socks on when I tried them in the shop...! Also had to have a larger size due to the raised bit round the heel at the back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Broken slippers These slippers were sent to my home by M & S as a replacement for the broken ones I had to return to a store. The original pair were given to me as a birthday gift. I had chosen the style and pattern. I have worn this style of M & S slipper for years and generally been pleased. Thus I wanted the same thing in a different pattern. The pair bought were broken after one week's wear. I do not wear them all day, just for a few hours early morning and after evening dinner. The slipper seam attaching the sole to the upper had come apart. I did not expect this after one week. I am only hoping that this fault was a one off and not a feature of the product as I have not yet had the new pair for a week. Therefore my experience was one of disappointment and a feeling that I cannot recommend this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful looking slippers but... I bought these slippers thinking they will be worth it cause years ago I had a pair and wore it for months before it fell apart. This one felt similar the first day and the second time I wore it. I work full time so I only get to wear them for very little when I am home. Today, I noticed the stitches on the side are loosened and the sponge filling is showing. Extremely disappointed, I have narrow feet and barely Size 4 sometimes I wear Size 3.5. I got the Size 4 and liked the fit but now I am not sure anymore. I cannot imagine wearing them twice would do that unless the slippers were not as well made. I will look into returning them unfortunately.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These slippers WILL smell I'm not known for having smelly feet, but after a week or so these slippers began to smell really bad. It's as if the material (rather rough, actually) is designed to retain any and all traces of foot odour. Also, they widened very quickly, so that I had to watch my step coming downstairs, and after one cold wash came apart slightly at the seam. A big thank-you to the ladies at Uxbridge M&S Customer Service who took my concerns on board and organised a refund. I've always bought my slippers at M&S and will continue to do so - but will steer clear of anything resembling these.
