Cotton Rich Zip Front Non-Padded Bra B-G is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 102.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Idea - design needs refining Recommend you ‘size up’. I normally buy 38DD or 40D. Bought 40DD and was just about right. There is an overlap of fabric which sits behind the zip for comfort; disappointing that a flap of this fabric shows at the top of the bra. Supportive but does not provide a lot of shape to the bust. The design could be a bit more flattering with a neater finish. Despite the above, I am still going to keep the bra as I am hoping it will be a great casual bra for everyday activities such as lounging round house, hillwalking, light exercise/gym etc. I also bought with a 20% discount. Have only tried the bra on so not yet tested for wash and wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Zip problem Do try on this bra before buying, the sizing is best described as non-standard. Otherwise fine except for metal part at foot of zip which made my skin blister. The bra does have material to keep the metal off your skin but in normal wear this can & did move aside. I don’t normally have skin allergies or problems but by the end of day 1 the zip end had touched my skin & I had a red mark & a blister which took 2/3 days to heal. I can’t reach round to fasten a back fastening bra but regretfully won’t buy another of this style until the metal alloy problem is solved. Unfortunate as it’s very hard to find a front opening supportive bra in a larger cup size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing I purchased this bra hoping for comfort, some support and ease of fastening - being a 40G I find it a struggle to fasten bras at the back, or do them up at the front and then yank them around the right way. Sadly this bra was a complete disappointment. It has zero support and is a major struggle to do up because it is so tight, making it hard to pull the two halves together while wrestling with the central hook. It was easy enough to then do the zip up but the end result is just that are squashed and low. If you're a smaller size I imagine the bra could be very comfortable but it's definitely not one for larger ladies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good comfortable bra - but watch the zip! I love this bra for its high cotton content, comfort, adjustable straps, and seamfree back. The support is OK for the casual style that it is. Best not to wear under a tight top, though, as the zip fastening shows through. I have found that the zip has a tendency to suddenly fly right open without warning! This can be highly embarrassing, especially when in the workplace. I think I've worked out why this happens. It seems to be a combination of the zipper pull turning to face upwards, which can happen in the course of the day, and leaning forwards so that the weight of the breasts falls upon the zip. I would still recommend this bra, provided that the wearer is aware of the zip issue and checks periodically that the zipper pull remains facing downwards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Post Surgery 5* Absolutely comfortable breathable cotton material. I had a breast surgery, needed to wear a bra even for the night. I purchased it because it seemed to be flexible enough when sleeping in it. Other bras weren't flexi enough and caused pain while laying in the bed. But this one feels like you don't wear anything. The zip solution is also good, because I couldn't lift my arm, so just was easy to close it on the front. After you pull up the handle of the zip just bend it down against the zip itself and it doesn't roll down anymore. It worth the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good addition to the M&S range If you are disabled and have difficulty fastening your bra, then this is the one for you. There's a little hook about half way up the front that you fasten before zipping up, which adds to the feeling of security. The only thing I'd add is to maybe sew in a little hook and eye at the top too so the zip doesn't come partially undone while wearing it. It rarely happens, but I like to feel extra secure. I have a large cup but comparatively smaller chest size, and struggle to find bras that fit. M&S are one of the few outfitters that supply decent, comfortable bras in my size, and I feel that this is a good addition to their range. Would I recommend this? The answer is a definite yes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Zip Doesn't stay up! I bought this to use post surgery, and although comfortable, the zip doesn't stay up. There is only one hook to support the zip, it would be better if there was also one near the top, to save you from embarrassment, which was normally as soon as I got into the hospital bed. The zip is too small, it doesn't seem to be enough for the bra, and is really fiddly to do up as the puller is so small. But mostly the zip doesn't lock, so is utterly pointless and not fit for end use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This bra works - for me. Having developed a skin irritation from all my existing bra's under the back strap, especially under the hooks, I sought to overcome this distressing problem. Being of ample cup size, I cannot go bra-less. This style of bra has helped me no end. The fit is very supportive but you need to go up a size or two for it to fit comfortably. The zip has not failed, but I agree with other reviewers, my cup shape is not as good as when using an underwired bra. I however am very pleased, as I feel very comfortable and supported all day.
