Cotton Crew Neck T-Shirt is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 543.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality These t-shirts are made with very good, fine quality material, but they are a big fit. That suits me very well as I always wear them as a base layer underneath a shirt or jersey and I buy size S Regular Fit in Extra Long. I'm over six feet tall with 42ins chest, so you'll see what I mean. Just one thing: the current stock has a wider neck than the previous edition. This shouldn't be a problem for most people, but I prefer a tighter neckline. If you have the same preference, the previous stock has the title 'Modern Essentials' printed on it; the current just says ' M&S Pure Cotton'.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Have worn m&S plain T's for years and bought a further 3 in "regular" fit, in various colours as replacements for ones that have given good service for a long time. I'm sorry but they really are £6 T-shirts. I am a M&S XL and have been for years, these are seriously small in regular fit, the shoulders are narrow and the torso is more like slim fit (no I haven't recently expanded!) The material is a lot thinner than I was expecting and after one wash at 30 degrees the neck loses its structure and shape and the garment shrinks slightly, making it even more "slim fit". Very disappointing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's crew neck t-shirt I ordered this plain black t-shirt online for my son. It wasn't reduced, but I thought M & S t-shirts are usually good quality and a good fit. I wasn't wrong, although when the t-shirt arrived I thought it looked quite wide. I had ordered size large as my son is about 6 feet tall, but as he goes to the gym he is muscular and a medium would maybe not fit him. I haven't seen it on him yet, but he assures me it's a good fit. He is going to wear it on it's own, but also has a nice red and black shirt which he can wear it under when the weather turns cooler. Really pleased with this purchase at only £6.00.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great t-shirt but now sizing is much smaller I have bought many of these t-shirts for my husband over the years, always size M. Bought 4 more just before Xmas and found they are both shorter and narrower than the previous ones I have bought. This means they are not such a good fit now which is a shame as we've always been really pleased with them in the past. Perhaps M&S are doing what we see chocolate manufacturers doing - charging the same price but reducing the materials??

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Neck The necks of M & S t shirts let them down. The last one's I bought stretched, whilst these one's are too big to start with. We don't all have necks like odd job.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New improved fit doesn't work for the older man M&S mens t-shirts have been good value in recent years, but the new shape doesn't work at all for my husband and we sent them back. The sleeves are shorter and the fit is too tight around the chest and waist. There is nothing wrong with M&S trying to appeal to a younger market, but they need to have a choice of fit if they want to keep their older customers on board. We will be looking elsewhere for crew necked t-shirts this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for reducing carbon emissions I started wearing a T-shirt as an undershirt so that with an extra layer I could turn down my central heating and save carbon. Wearing an undershirt also means I do not have to wash my shirts quite as often and this also saves a bit on carbon and ironing. I have purchased a variety of colours to go with different shirts and in regular and slim sizes and both body lengths. I am size M and I slightly prefer the slim version because regular is a little loose as an undershirt, though still OK. I liked these T-shirts so much that I bought far more than I really needed. But they will keep for the future and climate change is not going away. They are very comfortable, good quality, amazing value and wash well.
