Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loyalty66 I have been an enormous fan of M & S for more than 50 years, and still am! However, I am now very disappointed with your Supima handkerchiefs. They used to be super quality - soft, fine cotton. My husband is still using the batch I bought several years ago, but I bought 2 packs last year and at the the first wash the border and stitching puckered up and was almost impossible to iron flat. I tried several washes but the cotton remained course and puckered, so the hankies have never been used. Thought I would try 2 more packs this year but, although less puckering round edges occurred, the cotton is not soft and fine, maybe due to the anti-bacterial finish?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coarse cotton These hankies have received mixed reviews and I'm adding to that. I bought these for my husband before Christmas 2019, having bought similar ones for years. When I opened them, I noticed that the cotton felt quite stiff and coarse, as if they had been heavily starched, but assumed that the finish would wash out and they would be as soft and comfortable to use as all the previous ones. Sadly not! After 2 months of washing and ironing, they remain coarse and rather scratchy, and generally a bit unpleasant to use. Given that other reviewers have commented on how soft the hankies are, I wonder if these are coming from different manufacturers? I wouldn't buy them again, but might try the coloured ones, which look like finer cotton.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed Very disappointed. Poorly cut, poorly sewn, poorly finished. Several had frayed hems. Not one of the handkerchiefs is square. They're fine as long as you don't look too closely or try to square them up for ironing. OK they're not expensive but not worth the money they cost. What has happened to quality. Not what you expect from M&S

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shrinking handkerchiefs I bought 2 packs, a total of 14 handkerchiefs. I like large handkerchiefs and these are 45cm square. 4 have just gone through the first wash and they have shrunk to 42cm square. The texture has changed. No longer a soft feel but now quite rough and quite stiff. Very disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice hankies shame about the over-packaging These hankies are fine. Exactly what you would expect from M&S. My issue is the packaging. Do they really need to be individually wrapped in paper, sealed with tape and then encased in plastic?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The size is right Sorry, but I thought these handkerchiefs were way too thin. Considering what they have to do e.g. colds and tears, gossamer thin handkerchiefs are not really suitable. Shame I couldn't inspect them before purchase, wrapped all over.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Handkerchiefs - Shame you can't buy them The are great handkerchiefs and similar to ones I have been buying from M&S for many years now and they would have had 5 stars. However, its just a shame that the Fenchurch Street store does not stock them. I even asked a member of staff where to find them in the store and was told they do not sell plain while handkerchiefs but I could buy the various coloured ones but I dont want them I want white ones. I had to order these online which is bizarre as I then had to go into ther very same store to pick them up or pay postage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thin hankies I bought these hankies for my husband. I was expecting good quality for the price paid. They are thin and will have to be used double thickness. The feel is good, being soft on the nose, but definitely not thick enough for anyone with a cold.
