Not as good as they used to be
Don't let the photo fool you, the cut has changed!
I've been buying these for several years, has a bit of a gap when the waistband was multi coloured, relieved when they came back in stock with plain black (with a blue stripe - why?)
Recently bought a pack, and the seam is now down the back, just between the buttocks! Why? This is not how men's underwear should be cut! Purely to save money, no doubt.
Hubby reports they are nowhere near as comfortable. DearM and S, Please return the cut and therefore shape to the previous version!
And why does the elastic give up?

I have always been hot in the crown jewels area and favoured cotton boxers as a result. However, the recent hot summer resulted in a very sweaty commute. (I will spare you further details).
If you too are feeling the heat I advise that you get to M&S as fast as you and buy these trunks. They are so cool and somehow prevent the sweating.
I am not sure how they work, but they do. (something to do with wicking I suspect)

Not what they were.
Sad to say but these pants are not what they used to be. I have been buying these for 10 years or so but no longer.
They are made from a much thinner material and the stitching is already giving away around the waistband.

Used to be Better
I have bought these for many years but have noticed a real drop in quality. The elastic waist band fails at the seam after about 8 months or so. This never used to happen before. But al my recent purchases end up in the bin prematurely. Comfortable, but no longer made to the same high quality as they once were.

Overheating pants
These pants are anything but cool and fresh. I find the material too clingy which make my bits way too hot and uncomfortable, and I only wear them when there is nothing else left in the drawer. The material sort of tucks up round your bits and roasts them! Not good. I like M&S underwear, just not these ones. The pure cotton trunks are much more comfortable, and look the same, so i would recommend those instead.

Well must say over the years I have always bought marks trunks for hubby and sons. they would not wear any other. they do now however say how badly they fit now, they seem to have lost a lot of the high quality , that M/S was always known for. however we still buy them , as they are better than most but no way as good as they were . think about it Markies.....and get back to selling us quality.

Don't wash well
These are a good fit and comfy but after a couple of washes the elastic starts to show through in the rear seem of the waistband. I wouldn't buy again .
