Wool Utility Jacket

I like it - I'm quite large and it is a slim, tight fit when buttoned up - as others have said - it fits but only just.

Stylish, extremely well made jacket. Colour better than expected, blue/black.

The jacket was well put together and has a nice dark navy colour. Fitted perfectly apart from the sleeves which were about an inch too long for me. I got a medium and to give you an idea (I'm 5 foot 8 and weigh 13.5 stone 40 inch chest and about 34 inch waist - athletic build) and they came below the 1st thumb knuckle. I don't believe this to be a problem with M&S it's common with most jackets I buy from different vendors. My dry cleaner provides a tailoring service and so I got the sleeves shortened and the jacket now looks made to measure. It's a nice warm jacket and I went out today where the temperature was 1 degrees celcius - I had a cable knit cotton jumper underneath and it was warm enough for a brisk walk. Although if your standing in one place a warmer jacket would be needed. But on the whole very happy with my purchase. Looks good when combined with a Peaky Blinders hat.

Ordered this with a pair of Selvedge jeans, not sure about whether I would return it. But once it arrived and I had tried it on I knew it was going nowhere! Great quality jacket in a nice thick material. If you prefer to wear your jackets buttoned up I would say it is a slimmer fit, so it may be wise to go a size up or order one of each and return the other. Has a great vintage work jacket feel to it which feels very current. Pairs up great with Jeans and a t-shirt.

Another winner from M&S....simple, no logos and good quality and fit. The price was amazing. Really timeless jacket. Very happy.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my partner... what a great find. Much thicker than I thought it would be and the large pockets are a great feature. Will look great with jeans / smart trousers (when we are allowed to go out!!)... Would certainly recommend to others.
