Wool Blend Trousers with Silk

Loved these trousers, good quality and fit except unable to do zip up all the way and close button. Not sure if your sizing or my body mass but returned reluctantly.

Absolutely lovely trousers - they are a bit expensive even with 40% off but they are great trousers for the spring either in the office or a smart get together. Really like them... The long size is long...but teamed up as in the picture with a pair of runners - they look fantastic...

The trousers are made from a good quality fabric and fit well. They are very good value.

The material and cut were good but the fit was too large, particularly in the waist.

If they have a label showing ‘short’ why are they not? They did not look good quality. Not too bad.

Smart comfortable and stylish with a good price tag

My usual size, 14 was too small and the 16 a bit too big. I also thought that the material was nothing special, not really worth the money so I returned them. Not having much luck lately with m&s trousers.

In my usual size - 12 short - these were too small. In size 14 short these trousers swamped me. Additionally, these trousers are neither able to be considered wide leg trousers nor straight leg trousers (because they are narrow for the first and too wide for the latter). I wanted traditionally straight leg trousers, which these appeared to be - as in not tight/ close to my leg in either thigh or calf, which so many trousers are in more recent years where manufacturers appear to believe we all have 'chicken legs' regardless of our size otherwise. The hem width on these trousers in size 14 is 9" or 23cm. For these to be nicely fitting straight trousers approximately 7.5" / 19cm in size 14 would have been a good measurement in my view. With regard to fabric: I liked this and would happily purchase better fitting trousers made from this material. Construction was also very good. Packaging for delivery was abominable - taken off the hanger, left in original plastic cover and squeezed into a too small plastic post envelope.

I am so disappointed with these trousers, I ordered short length and because I need them urgently I have to pay £8 per pair to have them shortened. I bought 4 pairs when I was a size 16 and they were perfect, loved them!! Since losing weight and ordering a size 14, I expected to wear them straight away, the style has altered too. Don’t buy unless you are prepared to pay to have them shortened. M&S you are losing sales because of your inconsistency. One dot for value for money, my trousers have just cost me another £16.

Although quite expensive these trousers are really nice. Good fit and nice material. Not sure about the fake back pockets, but they will be covered by a top.
