Tweed Straight Longline Blazer

I purchased this jacket online to replace an old M&S tweed jacket that I was very happy with, but was now damaged. I particularly liked the tweed look and so was immediately interested in the Tweed Straight Longline Blazer. Unfortunately, I have now returned this jacket to my local store as I hadn't noticed from the online photo's that there weren't any buttons to fasten up the front of the jacket. My older tweed jacket had a zip front, and the style went well with formal trousers to create an excellent look for an office environment. The Tweed Straight Longline Blazer could have been a good replacement for my requirements, but without buttons, it just doesn't quite hit the mark.

I liked the style and the silver thread running through the fabric, although the fabric is largely synthetic and viscose, so I am not sure how well it will wear. But for a mock Chanel it is fine. Bought with a good promotion. The sleeves are a little long but not enough to be problematic.

I ordered this jacket in a size 12 I am between a 10 -12 normally. I could hardly get it on I would say it was equivalent to a size 8. Even if it had fitted there were two buttons which would sit on my boobs my husband burst out laughing. This jacket was either mis sized or very very small.

Jacket had thread running through it which was very scratchy on the neck . Had too return. And the delivery was late.
