Ribbed Roll Neck Knitted Dress

Ideal for layering over leggings wore it today teamed with a wide leather belt over a thin jersey rolled neck short long sleeved dress. It was so comfortable and finished the outfit with a pair of calve length black leather boots and casual coat.

Took the large - reminds me of one I had in 1965. The cowl hem and bottom hem really needed to be more relaxed - like if you cast on or cast off too tightly but not that bad.

Lovely soft dress/jumper. Colour good for me. I bought large but it was too big for me. Wasn’t too sure about collar/polo neck but no one had a medium left to try. It was returned

This dress is a wardrobe staple and is a casual / smart option for colder days. I saw it earlier in the year but thought it too expensive for what it was. I bought in the sale and am happy with the value and use I will get out of it.

Beautiful dress, lovely fit,I got medium, I'm normally size 12/14, the as quality I thought was very good, it hangs nicely and not heavy and bulky. To my dismay a week after I had purchased the dress at full price it was reduced and I was told I could not buy the same dress back!!I would have to have another from the rail, all labels were still in the dress! Other than that I would recommend the treatment as is a lovely shade of red.

I was SO disappointed when I unpacked this dress. Who wants to look 2 sizes larger than they are?? I thought the medium size would fit me (I'm usually M&S size 12). It just made me look very fat. It was too loose and stretchy. Looked as though it would be a warm garment for cold weather.

This dress looked great with thick tights. Only niggle is it was a bit shorter even for my 5'2" , than i would normally wear however it looked fine. Bought in sale on line so quite happy to keep it but probably would not have bought it at full price in the shop. Just a little longer length please M & S some of us have done short lengths too long ago.

Although Iv exchanges for a smaller size , love this little dress , love the polo neck and it doesn’t loose its shape very smart with opaque tights or leggings .

Such a handy dress and the red colour really suits my sadly fading complexion but what is going on with the sizing? I tried on 4 different mediums - it is sold in the small, medium, large etc mode. Whilst they are all on the bigger end of medium, three of the dresses were laughable huge! So if you find yourself with a massive dress don’t give up & try another one as when you get one that fits you’ll probably be as delighted as I now am.
