Suede Slouch Western Block Heel Ankle Boots

The style of these boots was just perfect. Lovely suede boot with a nice height of heel for everyday wear. Unfortunately they were a bit uncomfortable - felt like there was something under your foot - lumps under the sole. Regardless I kept them due to the style and M&S had sold out of my size so I couldn’t swap them. Regardless the sole completely disintegrated on one boot after only a few times worn. Dreadful quality from boots which were not cheap. To put into perspective my friend bought a similar pair for £10 from a supermarket which she wears most days and they are still going strong! So so disappointed - M&S shoes are no longer made with care - nice styles but cheap and nasty in their make up. Please please can you address these quality issues.

Received these boots in good time - I'm keeping them as I got 20% off BUT am I pleased with them? They are very comfortable, however I'm not pleased with the quality - I expect more from M&S. The colour - in some lights they look grey - other lights they look dark brown!

At first I bought the black slouch boots and fund they so absolutely comfortable. The first time I have been able to wear boots all day and the heel is perfect in shape and height. So as soon as I could I bought the dark grey and they are so lovely. If you need a comfy wearable boot that means you can stand , shop and walk all day in them then these boots are for you. they look great too with jeans or a skirt.

I have wide feet and a high instep so any boots for me are a nightmare. But these slipped on my feet like gloves, I can run around all day in them without that swelling feeling. Love them!

Came up a bit big for me. Also too tall for an ankle boot. Nice suede but not for me.

felt as though my feet were slipping around quite a bit and as I have fairly slim ankles would have to wear jeans tucked in all of the time

These were pretty comfy boots despite one of the sole cushions falling out after about six weeks, but after four months of occasional wear, the back seam of one of them has split beyond repair. Expected more for that price.

Style is very nice but came up big and wide for my feet. Would go half size-smaller. I didnt keep them as the black dye came off syraight away on to my hands

I really like wearing these boots, but having hardly worn them for the first month of purchase (November), I was astounded to see the (very thin) covering of the sole blistering and then tearing just before Christmas. During December I often wore them to work,but I have a sedentary job, working in a carpeted office driving to and from work and parking right outside, so little wear of the boots on outside surfaces. I can't find my receipt for the boots but am going to have to get them resoled this week (6 January) having worn them very few times outside. They are really comfortable and I like the style but the sole quality is not good. Another reviewed found the same problem.

After purchasing a similar pair with a lower heel I was quite reluctant to buy these boots as the ones I’d bought really nipped my left toes...but I loved the heel on these ones so bought them...what can I say..they are so comfortable & stylish..I can wear them all day as they are so comfortable..pleased they weren’t in the sale as my other ones are..these are great with leggings or a skirt & thick tights...thank you M&S...my new favourite boots...
