Striped Long Sleeve Skater Dress

Bought this in the sale so bargain! True to size, very comfy and looks very smart. Haven’t washed it yet so hope the colour doesn’t run into the white collar and cuffs as they are not removable

It is an excellent office dress, fits well, flutters hourglass figure, got many compliments as it looks so professional and yet smart. Could not believe the collar and cuffs are not detachable. Can't see how I can wash dark blue dress with the whitest collar without it turning grey, meaning ruining it smart appearance. White things are not to wash with dark things, this is a rule. Also this dress can be worn a few times before washing but the cuffs became dirty immediately. I am actually reluctant to put it in the washing machine, as 45 pounds for one-day dress would be too expensive.

I was so looking forward to receiving this dress to wear when I start my new job. The stye and fabric are lovely but the collar is far too tight. Sadly I had to return it.

A super design but let down by the collar and cuffs not being detachable. I want to wear the dress more than once before washing. I bought a size 10 which was a perfect fit but alas too short for me. I am 5'11/2" and the skater length was too short for me a 72 year old! My other critisism is that the fitting of the zip did not take into consideration the stripes. Several of the zips on the dresses I saw in store were very badly matched also when attaching the bodice to the skirt. It is written in stone when dressmaking that stripes should always be in alignment and match. I would recommend the dress to a younger friend due to the length.

Smart work dress would be far more versatile with removable collar & cuffs for laundering Does ride up slightly at the back so wear a slip for a sleek fit . Collar comes quite high up at the front and the back of the neck bur still comfortable to wear . Overall a good staple piece . Come on M & S detachable collar & cuffs is a must please

The collar is a little too high, and it is a shame that the collar and cuffs are not detachable as this would make washing easier.

Absolutely lovely dress. It is really smart and perfect for hour glass body type in my opinion. I have got a size 6 which is still slightly big on me but looks stunning and really smart. A bit short for my taste but bear in mind I am 5'10''. Got a lot of compliments, especially from my boyfriend. Overall - good value for the money.

Nice dress which needs a better fitting!

This is a very smart expensive looking dress although very much affordable. I wear it with a padded bra though to give the best fit for the dress. I am 61 and I bought size 10 which is my normal size and it is a perfect fit.
