Corduroy Wide Leg Ankle Grazer Trousers

I bought these in short length in the sale and they were culottes at that length which was better than the other options available but the style allows for this. they fitted well on the body and i didn't think they were high rise. they come to just below my navel. I bought a size 14 too which is a size or two bigger than i woudl normally wear and i bought them this lenght as i have knee length boots now. As a trouser they were a bit odd as more of a posh pair cf practical pair. if they had been full length i am sure i woudl perhpas have tripped over them. i woudl not have siad they were long though. usually short length is a bit longer on me. i have longish legs and it was only an idea to try them but i liked them enough to purchase and the colour is gorgeous.

I bought these in grey, size 16 regular hoping that they would be longer than ankle length and they are. The fit, material and style are superb; way above the normal (and sometimes slightly dowdy), M&S trousers. Very chic indeed. Please bring them back again for Autumn/Winter in a larger range of colours.

Discovered how much shorter than I thought. Small ten is perfect fit. Love the colour, not what you might imagine grey to be, softer and slightly blue.

I really like these trousers, so much so that I bought them in the gorgeous green aswell. I wanted something a bit smarter for a change, I'm always in skinnies, and these are beautiful and stylish. The fit is perfect, I'm usually a size 12 in M&S, but find some of their sizing all over the place in jeans, these are perfect. Now for the length! I read all the reviews that were here and couldn't quite figure out what to do. I absolutely DIDN'T want these as ankle grazers, so got the long! Well they were madly long, you'd have to be over 6ft for them to come to the ankles, I'm 5"8. No problem, just turned them up a inch and a bit and they're perfect! When I went to order the green after, I got them in the regular, which are the same as what I turned the others up to, a beautiful long, wide leg, right to the bottom of my shoes. Very elongating, elegant. Need to wear close fitting tops for balance and would imagine you need some height to wear them.

I was unaware these were cords as was wanting some lighter weight trousers which these are not. Wanted full length so ordered long. They are definitely not straight legged - they are very, very wide. The long were trailing on the floor. I would have called the colour blue not grey. In fact they were so different from the description I thought the wrong ones had been sent

The bottle green cord is a beautiful colour, and seems of good quality, as does the construction of these trousers. I like the wide-leg style, too. However, these are described as 'mid-rise', which is just not true! They fasten above my navel - practically around my ribcage! - and I am tallish (174cm/5'8.5"). This is surely high rise by any standard. It is a comfy place for the waistband to fall, though, and they fit well. I got the long length, which is pretty long on me and takes these to full length rather than ankle-grazer. I am definitely keeping the ginger, jeans-style straight-leg cords I ordered at the same time (which have a similarly high waistband, but are actually ankle-grazing on me in the long length), but am going to try these on again as I'm not completely convinced.

I love dark green, and rarely see it, so even when I could see these were a wide leg but described as straight leg, being a generally optimistic soul I ordered them in case the photo was incorrect. Oh, and I hate "ankle grazers" so ordered them in a longer length. It didn't work. They are very wide. The fabric is a good quality corduroy, and should have been made up in a true straight leg, (Not slimline) in "normal" leg lengths. The waistband fits, so I may keep them and attempt to re-style them something like the fab corduroy straight leg jeans/trousers you were making for eight or more years and could be relied upon to fit perfectly. They were so popular they nearly always sold out quickly, why you changed them is a mystery.
