Lovely dress, sizing a bit small had to change 10 for a 12

This dress fits perfectly and looks really great. I was really impressed by the material which is very flattering. Its hangs very well and the detail buttons and sleeves makes it special. It fits beautifully at the back as well with no gaping around the shoulders. I think this will be a timeless dress and I can wear this for lots of different occasions by dressing up or casual. Well done M&S on this one.

I never bought any clothes from M&S. When I saw this dress on my colleague, I fell in love. It looks so much more better if you wear. The photos don't do justice.

Love this classic 40's style dress. Very flattering style and modern enough with the side slits, perfect for work or make it more fun with coloured accessories.

I am very pleased with this and intend to wear it to a wedding in the summer. A flattering fit and lovely swishy skirt. It will also get worn as a summer dress with sandals. I like the neckline and small buttons which can either be done up or left open. The sleeve length is good too and not too puffy. The material is also very silky and hangs well.

I loved this dress - great style and lovely material. I ordered my usual size 10 but unfortunately it was far too small around the waist. It also seemed much longer than the length given (116cm). I'm tempted to try a size 12 but think that it will be too large.

Was pleased to receive this dress having debated for a couple of weeks over whether or not to buy it. When I first tried it on I was disappointed as it felt small and I thought would not be any good. However, I left it a couple of days and then tried it again, this time with proper underwear (slip) and shoes. I was more pleased with it on this trying and so think I will keep it as it is a smart style and a good colour (navy and white - always a good staple to have in the wardrobe). I thought it felt tight when I first tried it on but now realised that this is more the style of the dress than anything. Although I prefer the relaxed fit style of dresses that M & S do so well these days, I like the length of this so will keep it.

I struggled to find a dress that was elegant but not formal. This dress is lovely & flattering I wish M & S did more dresses like this one

Good fit, length and looks very smart, can dress up or down dependant on the occasion.

Having read some reviews I thought this may not fit correctly but it’s absolutely perfect! I love it!!!!! Thank you M & S as it looks far more expensive than it was!!
