I'd started with the Pixi glow tonic and wanted to try other products in the range, so mixed the retinol into my skin care routine. I use the retinol in the morning and glow in the evening. I think the product works well.

I have been using the Pixi Glow tonic now for many years but found it a little harsh at times and as I wanted to add a retinol to my routine, i thought i'd give the retinol tonic a go. For the last few weeks, i feel my skin looks a little clearer, fine lines reduced but without the harsh drying effect of the Glow Tonic.

I've always been nervous of retinol as so many people seem to have severe reactions to it and end up with dry flaky skin. A friend of mine got me a bottle of this Pixi retinol and I absolutely love it! I started out using it once per week as I was so worried it would leave my skin looking dry... after a month or so I upped the usage and now I use it a few times per week (I alternate between this and a lactic or glycolic acid) This leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and I think I can see a difference in the colouration of my minor acne scars

I have repurchased this item. I find it gentle and softening after using micellar water so it is a good addition to my routine. I have also used the rose tonic which I also like and neither have irritated my sensitive skin.
