Pure Silk Vest Top

Lovely flattering top, great colour for my skin tone. Bargain at the sale price. Will be well worn. Washed inmachine on delicate wash and drip dry.

Having read the reviews regarding size and quality I decided to order the cream top and iny regular aize 14. I am glad I did. This top is exquisite with no see through. The fit is loose with a bit of swing but not baggy and as it should be for this style. If you like a tighter top this one is probably not for you. The v neck is perfect as it is low enough without showing the bra. Would definately buy another if other colours introduced and styling and quality remains the same. I purchased this top with Sparks discount but consider the original cost reasonable. Other good labels would charge at least double for a similar top.

Too large under arms poor quality and stupidly lined which shows too expensive for what it is

I have quite a few of these tops, and find them extremely versatile, the material is lovely, good quality silk. They fit beautifully and I like the fact that they are classy and understated. I would love some new colours, purple, emerald, turquoise and dark red for the Autumn. Can’t praise them enough.

Lovely material and nicely sewn, however the lining that finishes just below the bust shows through as a darker line which looks like you have a crease across the front. Also this is not ivory. I'd call it oyster or a rich magnolia cream which lacks the clean freshness of ivory. Fit wise it was very comfortable. Im a larg size 12 on top, 36 C, with the shoulders of a rugby player, so if your dainty you may need a size down. It covered my grim lardy bits round the armholes very nicely which is rare in this style of top.

The hem of the half-lining forms a line across my bust under the ivory top and the unlined part seems a bit see-through due to the contrast with the half-lined part. The half-lining is not so obvious in the black top so I kept it. My usual size 20 is a good fit. Good quality silk. Only criticism for M&S: Why only half-line a silk garment? Please, either line it completely or don't line it at all.

Nice silk and I was looking forward to trying it on. But the fit was very strange and it hung awkwardly on me with a sort of folded over bit from the bust.

Much lighter weight of silk than photo and price suggests, fairly sure it would crease quickly. I didn’t even take it out of plastic so gave ave reviews for fit etc. Returned

A very high standard of design and feel, looks more expensive than it was, would highly recommend.
