Pure Linen Wide Leg Trousers

Really wanted some wide leg linen trousers. was torn on colour - the only reason for 4 stars is I wish there was a sort of cream/off white option. Went for navy, nice color and they are good quality. I am 5 ft 4 and normally a 12 for trousers, I did 12 regular given that linen normally shrinks. they are a good length, not too long.

M&S are my go to for wide trousers that look more expensive than they are and are really flattering. These are no exception. I’ve bought these for a Caribbean holiday as they will be nice for evenings. I’ve dropped a star only because the pleats don’t quite align on one leg and I hope pressing and steaming will correct that.

Bought two of these - navy and a beige - fantastic for feeling smart and comfortable at the same time. They have an elastic waist at the back which makes for a great fit. Length was perfect. Be warned, they are ‘wide legged’ but I loved them. Material is fantastic.

I paid a bit more than usual for these trousers but I think it’s worth it. They have a flattering high waist and are wide-legged without looking ridiculous. Good quality material and I know I will get a lot of wear out of them, especially on holidays.

These are a really stylish alternative to the drawstring waist linen trousers. The pleats make them look smarter but they can also be dressed down. I haven't washed them yet so don't know if they will shrink slightly however I can for see them needing more ironing to keep the pleats sharp. Elasticated waistband at the back is good for summer ice-cream eating. . . Extra short length is perfect for my 5'2'' height - not too sure what has happened to M&S lengths, I was a short for years but they are now really long so have to snap up extra shorts while they are in stock, so clearly I'm not the only one!

Great, stylish and baggy trousers. Good quality linen. What's not to love?

I haven’t worn them yet, waiting for warmer weather. They are very wide which I like and will be good in the summer months.

Great trousers, love the material, length and fit.

These are a great fit, length, and shape. Unfortunately they are completely see through, even with white or nude coloured underwear. Therefore have to return, really don’t understand why they can’t line these light items.

I bought the brown pinstripe trousers to match the linen shirt in same colours. I think I like them, however M&S wide leg trousers this season seem to be way more wide than last years. These seem more like a palazzo width. Then there’s the pleat or pleats at the waist which many trousers now seem to have. Both of these things you either love or hate, and I’m not sure which applies to me with these trousers. Over the years I’ve bought several pairs of wide leg linen trousers from M&S, most of which are still going strong and don’t look outrageously wide or out of style from one summer to the next. I’m not so sure that would be the case with these. That said, they sit well enough, and the material seems a good weight. Size wise, my usual M&S trouser size fits well at the waist and hips(some M&S trousers recently have required me to go up a size due to waistbands that seemed too small. I’ve seen others comment similarly). At 5’3, I bought the short length, which seems a bit shorter, maybe an inch or so shorter than other similar M&S trousers purchased recently.

I have these in 3 other colours, size 12 short. For reference I am in between a 10/12 and 5’ 31/2”I was excited to see them in a lovely brown colour and ordered the same size. The fit was sooo small and about 2” too short. I sizing is so off and so frustrating I returned them and can’t even be bothered to reorder.

These trousers fit beautifully and hang very nicely. They can be dressed up or down and are extremely comfortable

For the past couple of years I’ve missed out on M&S wide leg linen trousers as they sell out so quickly. Not this year though….I’ve ordered well ahead of linen trouser weather conditions! I love the rich chocolate brown colour, the comfy elastic at the back of the waste-band and the stylish cut. I’m looking forward to some warmer days to start wearing them.
