Pure Cotton Dobby Nightshirt

I got the red / pink. Would have preferred blue, but the red was available in my size in the online sale. Other reviewers said that it was too short. I find it perfect. I'm 5'6" and it's definite not too short. The fabric is lovely and light, just perfect for these hot nights. It's also soft and very comfy.

There was no blue/pink left in stock when I ordered my dark pink red trimmed shirt. The colour combination is in fact very attractive and the dobby fabric very light and excellent quality. It is a very well finished nightshirt, the quality I have come to expect from cotton garments made in India. I have had a lot of M & S nightwear over the years manufactured there all of which performed very well.

I had already bought a similar nightshirt from M&S, and was very pleased with it, so hence the purchase of a second one. I like the idea of using it as a dressing gown as well as nightie, to save packing two separate items. The cotton is very soft and comfortable and the length is perfect for me (I'm 5’4”). It also washes very well with minimal ironing required.

Lovely and comfortable nightshirt - and very attractive.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to purchase proper nightshirts (as opposed to nighties and chemises) so I was pleased to find this. The quality seems good and I like the length and don't find it too short at all (I'm 5ft 4). Great that it comes in a size 26 too. Please m&s, keep making more proper nightshirts and in large sizes too!

The nightshirt in a size 18 measures 89 cm from the base of neckband to the hem at the back. NOT 113 cm as stated in the product description. It is very short. I ordered three and will be returning all three.

Cofy, soft material. Longer at back than front.
