Pure Cotton Embroidered Waisted Midi Dress

Love this dress, good length and hangs well, can dress up or down.. Plan to wear to a party soon.

Like others I found the underskirt too tight for the dress and superfluous. There is no need to line the top and the skirt lining is too short. I have discarded the lining and may be able to use it as a nightie. The dress itself is a lovely quality and just what I wanted in order to cover up in the sun.

Love the navy one, fit perfectly. Ordered the white one. This was far too tight around the bust and I sent it back. How can the same dress in a different colour be so different in size? I wasn’t ordering a bigger size as it would have been too big everywhere else and too long.

Bought this dress in navy and loved it specially with Sparks discount. Thank goodness I decided to iron it before wearing it as I found the inside caked in something white and nasty. I've been able to order a second one but now paying more as the Sparks offer has ended. This should never happen M and S.

The white dress looks like a nigh shirt but got the navy blue dress and if fabulous .Sent the white dress back but keeping the navy dress,

I saw this dress on the sheer luxe website & loved it . It looks very flattering on & is on trend for this seasons look. Fabric good quality , love the drawstring waist with little tassels detail. As other reviewers have said , the slip is very tight underneath, but its ok. Another great dress for the summer M&S !!

Sadly when I tried the dress on, it looked very frumpy. Too much fabric. I saw the dress online, once I tried it on, I had to return it.

This is the third cotton midi dress I have tried this season from M & S and unlike the others it has some shape and the material is not too thin. As other reviewers have said the slip is a little tight. Great to have 100% cotton, more of this please. The drawstring waist is easy to adjust and it is nicely finished. The sleeves are not cuffed as described on the site but being elasticated they can be pushed above the elbows if it gets too hot. A good buy.

Very comfortable to wear and great value

Believed it to read Midi - but when tried on it was definitely a maxi - but so disappointing because it was absolutely lovely - just what I would normally feel comfortable in - but it was too long and I felt a bit too old for it. Although I keep wishing I had kept it and was a seamstress to shorten it just a little!!
