Post Surgery Secret Slimming™ Swimsuit

I bought this today in the sale and love it. It’s very flattering and a lovely colour. It wasn’t until I got it home that I noticed it’s for post operation. I am fairly well endowed and it fits a treat, so perfectly suitable for anyone and everyone.

I've just had a mastectomy with delayed reconstruction and needed a swimsuit for the pool. This is a lovely material and well-made, but the cut makes me look pregnant as it's generous in the body with a strange elasticated area below the bust, and is higher cut than it needs to be. It seems every year when I didn't need this you had great styles, but not this year!

My main problem with this swimsuit was that it has no adjustable straps. The length is too short for me so as a result of not being able to lengthen the straps, it had to be returned. Pity, as it’s an interesting fabric and way cheaper than other ‘specialist’ mastectomy swimsuits.

This is a really good design for post surgery with the high front and good sized straps so it feels supportive. The tassels detract from the costume and make it look a bit old fashioned but I am able to remove these easily enough. I ordered online to pick up in store. It is such a pity that neither the Wolstanton store nor the Handforth Dean store hold a stock of post surgery swimwear to try on, as the added complication of having a prosthesis means I would prefer to try before purchasing.

I bought this and the other pattern in this style of swimsuit. Love it and I felt confident in it just trying it on! Looking forward to wearing this on holiday.

Having recently went through double mastectomy, this swimming costume makes me feel human again. It’s so lovely and flattering to wear. Colour is gorgeous too. True to size.

Following mastectomy always felt a little self conscious wearing swimsuit and there was not much choice of fashionable swimwear. The high neckline with this swimsuit has given me much more confidence. I ordered both colours as not sure which I would prefer but so pleased that I kept both. Love that the ruching can be adjusted as well. Delighted with purchase.

I was looking for something other than black and this fits the bill. A pretty mix of colours, not too garish. Only thing I would have preferred would be pockets for prostheses, but I think I can make it work. Haven’t worn it yet but really like the look of it.

Whilst I don’t need a post surgery costume I love the higher neck style. Great for doing aqua aerobics classes, keeping everything in place! Lovely modern pattern and the tie legs are different, and being adjustable is great too.
