Polka Dot Frill Detail Midi Waisted Dress

I caught on sale so I am happy what I pay for

Lovely dress. Might be slightly smaller than the average m&s size 10. Material is light & thin so is a bit transparent and would look better with a slip. Could be dressed up easily or dressed down for a smart casual look. Perfect summer dress.

Nice dress, flimsy material but nothing a long t-shirt won't fix.Bargain too.

Got this in the sale, so kept it. Had I paid full price I would have returned it. Screws up like a dish cloth when washed Very see through material need to wear a slip underneath dress. It'll live in the wardrobe for a little while , it'll be used as a last minute choice

This was bought to take away on a Spring holiday - subsequently cancelled - but I am still hoping to wear it during the summer with the long sleeves pushed up. The dress has not disappointed in any way: good fit, love polka dot anything, good value for money and floaty. A very good buy in the sales.

What a very pretty dress, I will wear it with the narrow black leather belt I have also reviewed. Currently in lockdown so looking forward to wearing this dress hopefully in near future. Keep safe to you all

I wasn’t sure if I’d like this dress on as I’m only 5’4” so knew it would be quite long on me compared to the model. However, it comes in at the waist and is quite slim fitting down to the bottom section which swishes in a lovely way when you move so is very flattering and I didn’t feel it was too long. Lovely pattern, will be perfect for the warmer months and a fantastic price (it was in the sale). Only negative is the material is a bit see through so I will need to purchase a slip to wear underneath!

I purchased the navy colour option in this dress which I have already reviewed. The ivory colour is too see through for me and does not look nice on. I have removed the waist casing, taken in the sides and shortened the sleeves to three quarter length on the navy one to make a dress that fits me. I’m 5’ 11” so the waist on any M&S dress is about 3” too high for me. Had this dress been more expensive I wouldn’t have bothered doing the alterations but the price made it viable in my opinion.

Lovely cool dress for the summer

I ordered this dress as it looked nice on the model & they are very ‘now’. However when I tried it on I could see my underwear plainly through it. The material was so see through I might as well have been not wearing the dress! Also the neckline was a bit too up under the chin for my liking. It went back needless to say.
