Polka Dot Jersey Bodycon Mini Dress

This stretchy dress fitted me very well The length was just above the knee - I'm 5'3'' - and the sleeves were nicely 3/4. The main issue I had with this otherwise fabulous dress is that the seam from waist to neck up the middle of the dress is badly matched in an entirely random way. It's a basic 101 level fault that makes any item look trashy and cheap. I suspect that the spots on the dress are not easy to match, so obviously the design was intended for a plain fabric. If you have this kind of pattern you do not cut and sew a seam up the front in full for everyone to see. I returned the dress.

This could have been a lovely dress. The material was nice and the dress fit well and looked good but unfortunately it had an odd seam right down the centre of the bodice and the pattern was mismatched, which ruined the look completely. Regrettably, it had to be returned.

Ordered this is was reduced. I wasn’t expecting much; but found the dress to be a better length than shown ; fit well and flattering in the right places. A true fit and fairly lightweight. A great purchase

This is a nice dress but for my personal taste I would have liked a waist seam on the back to ensure a snug fit. Good fabric but I am afraid I returned the dress on this occasion.

I had doubts that this dress would fit as currently at the bigger end of size 14, but it fits well & is nice to wear. Very happy

It's still a good dress but if you are bigger in the bust, know that it is tight there.

Ugly seam down the front that would have looked better down the back, polka dots don’t match because of seam. Really spoiled a lovely dress. Was really disappointed

but I couldn't, no matter how hard I tried. There are so many things wrong with it I hardly know where to start. First, it's not a very "good" navy, Second, the spots are a very strange colour, rather like white goes when it's been washed with something red Off pink I would call it. Very off pink. The style of the dress would only suit a size 8 beanpole - those crossover things at the waist are hideous. The neckline is most unflattering for anyone with more than an AA cup bust. The length is neither one thing or the other, similarly the sleeves. There's a seam down the front of the dress which merely shows up the mismatched spots. Needless to say it's being returned ASAP.

Bought this dress online and it has already been washed and worn several times. It is quite smart but also, because it has sleeves, useful for our cooler summer days or evenings out. A good buy M & S. Would appreciate more of the same.

First of all, this is not a mini dress on me- a very flattering knee-length at 5’4”. Long sleeves to cover arms ( hooray) in a cotton with a slight stretch so cool and comfortable to wear, but enough stretch to mould to your shape. I dressed it up with a white bolero cardigan and yellow shoes and bag for a Golden Wedding lunch today. It could equally be a smart work dress or dress it down with white flatties. A real bargain.
