PETITE Button Detailed Shirt

Very disappointed with the fit. Considering it was meant to be petite sizing the bust darts were very low, on me, and the armholes were huge. This was a shame as being half price was excellent value, but I returned it due to the fit.

I read the reviews regarding the gaping armholes but couldn't believe how large the space was until I received the item. You must be losing a lot of sales by not addressing what I consider to be a design fault.

Love this white blouse for wearing under sweaters, cardigans, etc.

This blouse was just what I wanted and the cut had been scaled down for the petite fit except for the arm holes. these were huge showing a large expanse of bra so sadly it was returned.

Loved look of shirt to go with my per una peg trousers. Fit across bust and waist fine (size 10) however gaped across back and did not sit right, unfortunately had to send back.

Even though I am not petite at 5' 6'', I am short waisted, and find that regular sizes, especially if they are shaped at the waist, just don't fit me. I actually originally ordered this blouse in my size 12 in regular, and it stuck out at the back, and kept rising up over my waist. Having previously had tops from other petite ranges I thought I would try this one, and it is perfect for me. Of course the whole thing is shorter, but that is ideal, as the waist is now in the right place for me, but everything else is my normal size. It sits perfectly, doesn't ride up, and unlike other reviewers, I haven't found the armholes gape, although it does seem to be a big problem this year with any sleeveless item - and not just with M&S. One thing M&S, please can you make this in other colours? I would love a black one!!

Purchased for work only, but found it quite snug around breast area. The next size up was far too big around armpit and across breast. Although even if it fitted I doubt I would have kept it as the fabric was thin and too see through for me sadly.

I like this blouse and it looks smart and crisp on. It has two small inner buttons at the bust to prevent gaps appearing between the outer buttons which I thought was a nice touch. Unfortunately as the previous reviewer mentioned, the armholes gaped and were too large for me as my bra was visible on both sides, I therefore didn’t think I would feel comfortable wearing it, this is a real shame as other than that, I like the blouse.

i like that the blouse does not have the unnecessary patch pocket that M&S seems to think every blouse must have. to my mind the blouse is much more chic without it. i think the item comes up on the big side, so if erring between sizes choose the smaller, and it gapes a bit around the arm hole. the material is nice but i would have preferred all cotton. it isn't perfect but seeing as i have been looking for a blouse like this for a long time, but without the patch pocket and it's hard to find petite clothes, i'll live with it some other colours, at least black, would be nice
