Padded Jacket

I am 5' 10" and found the length to be similar to the photo. I bought the red which is a bright pillar box red. The sleeves come up long as the cuffs have a hole in them for you to put your thumb through and use as an extra layer that comes down to nearly cover your fingers. Great if you find gloves a bit restricting. The zips are easy to operate and chunky and nylon. The black zips at the side to not open to a split but cover a gusset that gives you up to 3 or 4 inches on each side if you need a bit of extra flare. Others have commented it is not lined but it is completely finished on the inside and is quilted. The pockets do hang on the inside instead of being enclosed between a lining and the outer coat. I think because of the quilting if you are between sizes I would size up especially if you want to wear thick jumpers. It is a slightly heavier padded coat that a well known brand that has a hare on it. It is well made and has kept me dry in a heavy down pour. I bought this in the sale with a huge reduction and it is amazing for the money paid.

I bought this coat in the sale but would pay full price. Extremely warm and cosy, and shower proof too. Slightly tighter fit on the arms than the body. I love the bright red, but this colour may not be for everyone! Perfect for school runs, dog walks and cold days in the park with the kids. I have not felt the cold since I bought it. Very pleased.

Love this coat excellent quality but came up a bit small so glad I ordered larger size. I was lucky enough to buy this in the sale as a bit expensive at full price.

Loved the jacket all in all, a bit pricey and the fit is way too small, i am a regulat shopper and can usually shop with my eyes shut, this was way too small.

I usually wear a size 12 but 14 fitted better. Lovely warm, waterproof coat - looks amazing.Colour is really eye catching.

If you're going to be spending hours watching football or rugby matches this is the perfect winter outdoor coat...it's like a sleeping bag! However I also thought it would be perfect for dog walking, but for me I get way too hot walking in it! The red is a beautiful vibrant colour, the size was perfect for me (14). Very pleased!

Very warm (too warm for spring wear probably) and looks wonderful. The colour's perfect and although padded it doesn't add bulk. Although £150 is expensive the quality of this coat makes me confident that I'll still be wearing it 5 years from now

I bought this jacket at 20% off and at that price I thought it a bit steep, so I wouldn’t have paid full price for it. It is a nice comfortable fit and I do like the zips at the sides as they give you a bit of extra wriggle room. I wasn’t too bothered about it not being lined as the jacket is the same colour inside and out. The only thing I don’t like is that there is a small piece of black rubber at the back which is visible if the hood is up, or you take the hood off, as I tend to do. I am not sure what the purpose of this is. The jacket is a good length for driving, which is why I bought it.

I bought this coat in pink -it's so unusual to get a bright colour in winter and I just love this cosy bright coat . ....but I had to go up a size ...normal size far too tight to accommodate a cardigan / jumper under it and bigger size meant sleeves are a bit too long . ..and I don't like those thumb holes . As the sleeves are too long I've altered it a bit and tucked the ribbed cuff up inside the sleeve -works well for me . Good quality ,very light and comfortable to wear . Not washed it yet so can't comment on how well it will stand up to cleaning .

Bought this with some birthday money in November-absolutely love it; it's warm, waterproof and very flattering. Love the black rubberized zips-make the coat look expensive. Would love to buy another colour (I have black), but too pricey, think £70-80 would be a fairer price, especially as it isn't lined. All in all I consider it to be a good all round coat.
