Seasalt Cornwall waterproof mac

The Mac was half price in the sales and worth every penny. It is 100% organic cotton, waterproof and very well made. My husband is over the moon with his wonderful winter coat.

Hoping it will keep me warm and dry this winter

The zip is a bit awkward at first but otherwise I am very happy with the product

Poor fit

No, I don't recommend this
Looked good in photo but different in reality. Ordered size large. I'm 5ft 9, 42 inch chest 34 waist,q proportionate build. The coat was huge. Shoulders were fine but the body was massive, billowing out in all directions. Going down a size may improve the body fit but it would undoubtedly be tight around the shoulders and under the arms. Plus the zip is on the opposite side which is very annoying.

Good quality, lightweight coat

Well made and comfortable: wife has had a Seasalt coat for some time, so was pleased to see collection for men! For the record, I'm just under 6 foot, 40 chest, slim: medium is just perfect: roomy enough to layer, but doesn't stick out like a sail at the back (which coats often do on me..)

Good coat but for some obvious design errors

Good looking coat that is great for walking my dog in the winter rain, but: the fur in the hood and on the back makes it only suitable for cold weather rainy days - it gets very hot, especially on your back, and you can't have the hood down as the fur gets wet; the zip is on the wrong side, and is unreliable; and the pockets for your hands are set too low for comfort.

Bought this jacket for my husband for rain soaked dog walks. If I wanted to design the perfect dog walking jacket this would be it. Warm, completely waterproof, stylish, perfect length and a warm hood (so many wax jackets don’t have hoods for some strange reason). Excellent purchase and a happy, dry husband.

Due to the persistent rain recently my current winter/coat was not ideal and came home wet. This coat is perfect and now come home dry. For me i tried and took the Small size when i would normally take the medium. Plenty of pockets also!

Great winter warmer

It’s long, warm and comfortable. It’s a bit loose for a medium, the hand warmers are at the front of the patch pockets lining and arguably the zip is on the wrong side. Regardless I’m really pleased with it, especially in the current cold spell… I saw it in the sale (the Boss has a ladies version which is worn all winter) and I can recommend it, quirks aside…

Let down by the zip

A very good product which is let down by the zip - completely pot luck every time as to whether or not I can use it.

I was able to collect this coat the following day after I ordered it and it was just perfect. Very warm indeed with an excellent warm hood.

Looks good but…

Looks good but arms are a bit on the short side. Zip does not work easily. The ladies equivalent is better as it has zip pockets and zip works well.

Looks and feels warm on.

Yet to wear this mac in the cold, rainy day for which I bought it, but it certainly looks good, and feels good and warm on. Very pleased with the purchase.

Good jacket, funny zipper.

Good waterproof jacket. The zipper is the wrong way round in that the left side locates into the right hand side of the jacket, making it a bit awkward to fasten. Maybe it's for a left handed person.
