Loved the fit around the top, fabric and frayed cuff , which is the reason l purchased them but the leg shape made me look bow legged. They were returned.

In M & S I have both size 8 and 10 jeans in my wardrobe depending on fit. Ordered size 8 in these because 10 was sold out. They were more like a 4-6 - I couldn't pull them up higher than mid thigh and I'm slim! Doubt I would have kept them if they had fit me, as the shape looked very odd and unflattering. It's very hit and miss with M & S.

Dear Sirs, I was soooo disappointed when I received these jeans! They fitted better than any other I have ever bought in the past. However, the description of the item on your website clearly states button and zip opening. when I actually received the jeans they had a stud opening. They were very difficult to do up and even more difficult to undo. If you needed to go the lavatory in a hurry you would be in trouble!! I took this pair back and ordered another pair to see if that would produce a front opening with a button and a zip. However, the next pair also had the studs so they had to be returned too. It's a pity the description on the website does not match the actual product. It would save a lot of trouble! Yours, a disappointed customer

Love these, have bought in both colours. They remind me of my old 501's from back in the 80's!! Love the button fly, I had to just widen the holes a little but they are fine. In terms of fit, I have bought my usual size, and got them on no problem. I think as they have no stretch, they are hard to do up first time, but once done up and wearing for 30mins or so they are perfect. I think we have all got so used to having stretch in our jeans we forget what real denim is like. These are a super style, so perfectly on trend and they look super cute and the regular hit just graze above my ankle - I'm 5ft6in tall.

unfortunately these came up far too small,Normally a size 12 I ordered a 14 to allow for less stretch in the fabric but I couldn't get close to doing them up,Usually the "new"short fitting is still a bit long on me so I assumed the " ankle grazer" would be a normal length on me well I got that wrong they were definitely as described in that respect.The denim was nice and heavy feeling more like "proper" jeans and the colour was good too so it was a shame they had to go back also I wasn't too keen on the unfinished hem look but had they fitted would happily have kept them. Because I want a high rise a trip into store to try on a larger pair may be the answer.

This is a basic problem the sizing is all over the place Nice looking item but very strange sizing coming up 3 sizes too small!

I tried 2 pairs of these jeans and both fit me but the button fly was impossible to do up. Such a shame! Should have taken more notice of other reviews.

These are my first jeans I’ve bought in over 10 years that aren’t skinny jeans. Loved the fit off them however I’m normally between a 10 and a 12 and even struggled with the buttons on the 12- moreso because the denim is so tough to get the buttons through. Couldn’t button up the 10 at all but the 12 I’ll need a belt. Apart from that they are great and would definitely recommend. I stuck a thick pen through the button holes and that helped me get the buttons through no issue!

I am normally a 10 in m&s and sometimes need an 8 so I was surprised how small these jeans are. I needed a 12. The fly buttons are very difficult to do up, they are tight and hurt my fingers. These jeans look really nice but the buttons and sizing are an issue.
