M&S Essentials Food Box

Another box applied for my daughter who is going through a very good time. She was extremely pleased with it but felt the coffee could have been a bit of quality.

Ordered & delivered to a relative. They were very pleased with it & realy impressed with content. Pity there was no place to say who it was from!

This box focuses on items that can be deemed essential so there are less of the treats than in the first-release boxes. Its good to see the Percy Pigs still there though. I have bought this box as a gift for a friend who has been in isolation since lockdown and I have every confidence that it will be well received. Its still lovely to know you can receive the box so quickly and the quality of the food is good.

This is a wonderful box full of cupboard staples, perfect for anyone during lockdown. We have used all of the items and found it good value for money. I have preferred again as it was a well stocked food box.

The images were accurate on opening the food box without disappointment, however it would have been useful to have indicated the family size of jars and tins as well as weights.

For the store cupboard so now well stocked . A substitution was better than the original -conserve for jam

I love the food boxes that M&S Have provided recently. They have been a life saver, especially the fresh fruit and veg. I like this food cupboard box as well, but, I have only bought it once because of the excess of tea, sugar and jam. 2lb of sugar lasts for about a year in my house, we rarely use it. A jar of jam would last us over a month and we do not drink tea. Of course I was able to give it away, but there is only so much of these items that anyone wants. I would have bought the box more regularly if these items were omitted. The tinned items were fine and the piggy sweets are lovely. It would be great if we could all create a box to suit our own tastes and then book regular slots for its delivery.

Ordered the essential food box, it appeared to be packed ok but three of the tin cans were dented and one quite badly like a knife had tried to cut through.

Get rid of the Percy pig sweets, they are awful. Put an additional tin of baked beans in the food box.

A little treat to say thank you to my daughter in law. My granddaughter loved the percy pig sweets.

Good range of store cupboard necessities. Only preference I would have is for whole wheat pasta and brown rice to improve taste.

I sent this to a friend who is shielding and she was really pleased with the contents - not least the Percy Pig sweets!

Was a gift for daughter in law, after surgery and has not the network around her to help during this difficult time. We live in a different area of GB so we thought this would be a partial solution and it was! Arrived when it said it would, well packaged with a good selection of items! The main thing is that she really liked the selection and was able to make a variety of meals from the contents with some extra additions of meat and veg! She would recommend it!

I would not have considered this if I hadn’t been given a gift token, but I will buy it again, and keep it in mind to ensure I never have an empty cupboard. I wonder if it would be possible, after the present crisis, to add an ‘essentials for singles’ box. For instance, the pasta sauce is delicious but much too much for one old woman. I use Ocado,and now know several items I shall be buying regularly, including the chopped tomatoes and tomato soup.
