Magic Shaping High Waisted Straight Leg Jeans

Sadly to long so returned and no stock of shorter length in sale.

i used to be a Long Tall Sally devotee but these jeans were just the right length in 10L and they made my bottom more shapely according to my husband(unprompted) so "bum sculpt" tick in the box!

I'm writing this review wearing a pair of size 10, long M&S jeans - but not the ones I ordered! They are bit old and worn now, so thought it was time to replace them. Silly me, I thought that it I bought a pair of jeans that claim to be shaping (so obviously not for the truly very slim customer) in the same size, length, I would get a new pair to wear and can relegate the current ones. How wrong was I. I'm not exaggerating, but the jeans did not come on me further than the lower part of my thighs. I thought for a minute that I had forgotten to unzip them - but no. They were way too small. I don't for a moment claim that I'm like a stick insect or anything, but as mentioned, I'm writing this review wearing a pair of size 10 jeans by the same manufacturer. They fit me just comfortably. I must admit I do not understand how they can be so significantly different, but this properly put me off trying to buy anything like this again from M&S online, without the chance of trying them on in a fitting room first, because I don't feel like ordering 5 pairs and sending back 4, nor do I feel like ordering-returning-ordering-returning different pairs before I get one that is actually true to size. I'm really rather disappointed because the colour of the jeans was very nice and they felt soft to the touch, which is why I wanted them in the first place. M&S: please could more consistent sizing be used in the future.

Returned items as couldn’t find correct fit and length

Had always thought to try these but picked up in the sale and very pleased I did. Fit is snug but you would expect that as holding your shape. Create a nice silhouette when on so thinking more for that smart / casual occasion. Just to warn you - I have usually been a medium length with M&S. These came up very long so returned and purchased a pair in the short length.

These are superb jeans. They are shaped in at the waist so you would probably struggle if you have a thicker set waist. I bought another pair as I liked the close fit.

Whilst these jeans are made of excellent quality denim I am extremely disappointed by the leg length. I purchased the short version after checking on the size chart but they are at least 1inch longer and this changes the fit around the legs, so sadly l have had to return them. I was especially disappointed as they were such a good sale price!

Nice stretchy jeans. A regular length normally fits me fine but these are a good 3 inches too long, a short size would have been a better fit. I'm 5'3" (ish)

Bought these primarily because in the sale and all my jeans had become happy at the waist. These are very comfortable, fit well everywhere and look good too

I bought these jeans in the sale as I have two pairs already in the same style but this pair is much smaller, both in the waist and leg. Can’t help wondering if they are wrongly sized! Please include returns labels again, it was much simpler!
