Linen Rich Striped Cropped Trousers

Very pleased with this purchase. They look smart and accompanied with a linen blouse in similar colours. Would have been a nice feature had they had a side pocket.

Quality is excellent but there is so much material it swamps one and is difficult to coordinate to give the whole out-fit style.

I loved this the moment I saw it. I'm saying it because it's more like a divided skirt. Refreshingly different for me, and I would definitely be looking for others in this style. More girly than trousers, and cool for summer. Bring it on! By the way, the elasticated waist is great too, and button detailing adds style.

Got a compliment from my daughter on first wearing these. They look and feel great, hanging well, the linen stripe just right for summer. I went down a size after reading reviews and had to go for long as there weren’t many sizes left, long perfect though for a 5’6” wearer. I did make and sew in a pocket. This isn’t too hard. You can pick open the seam between top two buttons and insert the pocket, sewing it onto the front waistband to keep in place. Please provide pockets M&S!

Perfect for warm nights abroad. Material flows well and they are very comfortable. I bought my usual 8 online and they were a tad tight round the waist. If I had been in store I would have tried a few 8’s on to get the right fit. I didn’t have time to do that before I left & they weren’t stocked in my local store. My only negative is that I would have liked pockets.

Thrilled with this garment - good fit, well finished, just what I expected and it is what I received. I have not been a regular shopper at M&S fashion but I shall certainly keep my eye on them for such great pieces.

Really pleased with these, went down a size as previous reviewers suggested . Hang even better with the culottes slip underneath.

I bought both the plain khaki and cream side-buttoned wide leg trousers recently and left rave reviews, so imagine my delight when I found this version! I immediately bought them in the same size as before (UK6-R / 56cm inside leg) but they didn't look as elegant on, maybe because the fabric isn't as soft, or because the vertical striped pattern played tricks on my eye? They somehow appeared shorter and a little frumpy. So I bought the UK6-L instead and they now work perfectly for my UK 8 / 81cm inside leg frame - I'm delighted! My UK6-L pair has a 61cm inside leg and the extra length allows them to drape and flow like my plain trousers and, falling a little below my mid-calf, they can still be worn with either trainers on the go or with high heels for a night out with a tucked-in blouse and waist belt. LOVE!

These trousers look great and feel really comfortable. My only reservation/criticism is that M&S don’t do the right colour blue a top which goes with the trousers. I managed to get a short sleeve t-shirt from M&S but would rather have had a top which was rather more elegant!

Love these! I bought the long version as I’m short and don’t look great in wide legged trousers that are too cropped. These come just above my ankle, which I like. I got lots of compliments and friends asking where I got them the first time I wore them. The do come up a bit big, so you might want to go down a size. I’m normally a size 14 in trousers and the 12 fitted fine. I’m now converted to linen, a material I’ve always avoided due to creasing making me very uncomfortable, these do crease a bit but apart from the odd twitch I think I can handle it! lol
