Light Control Sheer Shaping Body

This was a really nice garment, but the bust was not a good fit for me. Sadly, had to return it.

I'm a size 8 to 10 and have been buying these for years as a "smoother". If you want control this is not for you. Also if you want to wear under jeans or trousers the leg line is shocking, very visible panty and leg line (what M&S are thinking about with the cut of this leg is anyone's guess) and can (should) only be worn with a dress. Cheap and cheerful and do help a dress sit nicely. Fabric is cheap both in feel and look, but it is an inexpensive item, and you get what you pay for.

As others mention, it's does not have much 'pull in' but is light control as described, smoothing out the silhouette. Great that leg length is not too high and has good coverage at the back, makes for comfy wearing and washes/drys quickly.

I would wear one of these everyday it is so perfect. It does not cut in anywhere and makes everything tidy under clothes. PLEASE M&S white and other colours.

I had previously tried a firm control body but it was SO firm it didn't have enough stretch for me to be able to actually get it on! This one is lovely - just enough support to smooth out any lumps and bumps, but it is still comfortable enough to wear all evening. Also, the poppers are easy to undo and do up again if you need to visit the loo.

Returning as not as described there is no padding at all.

Doesn't squash bust too much .. tho think all of these tops could be designed better to not flatten bust but to enhance

I've been buying lots of M&s thermal and shape items as like vests for the winter and thought I'd give these a go. I like that the pant part isn't cut too high, the material is really soft and the straps wide enough so it doesn't dig in and give you a nice line. I have an off white blouse with small lace panels and this is invisible enough to protect your modesty. It's comfortable and poppers don't rub which was a concern.

When I order another of these body shapers, I will order a size smaller. However it still gave me a smooth shape and took care of the dreaded "back fat"! Easy poppers to do up underneath. Very importantly when you are wearing it, it doesn't make you boiling hot
