Suede Lace-up Pump Shoes

Nice style and colour. Needed to buy half size larger because my usual size was too tight. The soles feel too thin and hard to class them as trainers i.e. not great for walking any distance.

More a shoe then a trainer slim fit would advise getting a size bigger

I ORDERED 12 BUT ONE WAS MARKED 13 AND ONE12 . BUT THEY MUST HAVE BEEN NO BIGGER THAN A 9 AND VERY NARROW.

I bought these for my husband - he is a rather difficult person to buy anything for - he loves them ,so I also bought them in brown too, with the 20% off. Really good value for money.

Look great,well made and good value, unfortunately the sides are very stiff and dig into the ankles making them very uncomfortable to wear. I’m hoping they’ll soften up in time with a bit of stretching and pummelling!

I would not describe this footwear as Leather trainers but rather posh suede pumps. They are ok in the house as slippers but I doubt if they would stand up to any rigorous outdoor activity. You need Reebox classics. Although they are comfortable to wear they are a very narrow fit. Sorry M&S you need to re-name this type of footwear.

I brought these due to the environment I live in not being very suitable for regular plimsole type shoes, finding they wear out quick & get ruined. The fits a bit tighter than expected but i’m hoping they’ll break in as they’re leather. Looking forward to having shoes that offer better protection than canvas

First a response to M and S's own description of these shoes: I don't think you'd call them lace up 'trainers' at all. What they are is a pair of casual suede derby shoes with a tick rubber 'crepe-look' sole. As such they're a bit of a bargain for what they are, which is a pair of shoes generally modelled after a far more expensive 'hi-top' offering from a noted English footwear manufacturer. The suede is of a decent quality, and Ive found them equally good for asking as well as driving.

Great style, perfect with jeans and a jumper. Leather is very soft and a comfortable fit.

These shoes have cut my heels & ankles to pieces. The leather is so hard & has no give in it at all. The sole is too rigid. DO NOT BUY!!
