Leather Brogue Shoes

I bought the silver brouges in store, I'm normally an 8, but there was only one pair of 7-5's. They seemed to fit ok, so as they were under £5 in the sale, it was fate and I bought them. I wore them today, all day. No pain or nipping at all. I have the worst feet in the world and new shoes normally butcher my feet. When I got home I looked to see if the black were available. They only had 8's, so they are on order. The silver are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! I love them. I agree the standard laces look naff and either silver or ribbon would look better.

These shows were great style and quality, but very very narrow and came up small. My daughter couldn't even get her feet into them! had to return sadly.

I bought these (in the sale so great value for money!) after reading the other reviews and taking into account what was said. I found them true to size - I take a size 5 and that’s what I bought. I found them very comfortable- I spent a good few hours walking around in them on the first outing without any problems at all. I’m very happy and think they are lovely shoes.

Blisters can’t wear them I bought the same pair 6 months ago and like the pair before they were brilliant. Sort it out m@s spend less on advertising that cheapens your brand and mocks your most successful turn around and get the basics right. Your sizing is terrible

I bought the first pair of these brogues about four weeks ago and was very happy. They were comfortable and stylish - two aspects of shoes that I seldom find in the same pair of shoes. I was so happy with them that I decided to buy another pair two weeks later - same size, same shoe, same colour (black). However, when they arrived, they were much tighter and very uncomfortable. I initially thought that they just needed to be walked in but after two weeks of trying and with very painful blisters on my heels I have now given up and donated basically brand new shoes to the charity shop. There were other small differences - the interior of the first pair was black and the leather much softer. The later pair has a beige lining and the leather feels much harder to the touch - hence the blisters. I am disappointed with the inconsistency but lesson learnt: do not assume that two pairs of the same model shoe at M&S is the same.

These shoes were for my daughter, she tried on the first shoe whilst I had a look at the other I put my hand inside and the sole had a dip like hole in them and the sole was screwed up unwearable, the other shoe my daughter had just tried on was also the same but not as bad but definitely not wearable the you don’t pay this much money for such poor quality.

Fitted beautifully and very comfortable. Spoilt by the nasty white laces (my husband said they made the shoes look like football boots!) but I bought some silver laces elsewhere and now they are perfect.

Love these shoes (I bought the silver pair). I read the earlier reviews and downsized by half a shoe size and they fit perfectly. They are super comfortable and I've had plenty of compliments!
