Lace Waisted Midi Dress

I only bought this because it was in the sale & if it had fitted it would have been very good value. It was a generous size 16 but the shoestring strapes needed a strapless bra which doesn't suit me. It was a bit longer than I would have liked but not midi. I'm 5ft 7. I liked the A line style and fabric was nice, good colour too. Could definately wear to a wedding. I returned it as I prefer to wear a bra with strapes.

I saw this dress online a few months ago and instantly liked it but the price was a little over what I could afford to pay for a dress that at the time I had no occasion to wear. so when I saw it in the sale at 1/2 price I could not resit. however I had to return the size 10 as it was tight across the bust. Size 12 fits perfectly and I'm looking forward to wearing it tonight to a formal military function

I am so pleasantly suprised by this dress! I bought both colours on a whim in the sale - half thinking there must be something wrong with them for being this good value - but was not disappointed they are beautiful, great quality dresses! I think they will look wonderful at a wedding or any spring/summer event. I don't think the photos online truly depict the colours in the flesh though - the champagne is more pale nude and the blue pastel is a slighty darker shade. Either way, they are both lovely but I could only keep one so chose the blue as is better on my fair skin tone.

I was very disappointed when I received this dress. The blue colour online is a baby blue, a lovely colour. The dress I received is a darker cornflower blue, nothing like the colour in the online picture. I wondered because this dress is only sold online do M&S make different blue colour lace dresses. I do not know why M&S would do this. The quality of the lace is very good and even though I was very annoyed when I saw the colour I did try the dress on and surprisingly the colour suits me. I would say it is a tight fit on the bust for my normal size but with some adjustment it does look nice on. I a 5'6 and the dress sits below my calf with a nude 5/6 inch heel. Wearing clothes of such good quality makes one feel good I think. For the sale cost of £32.50 this dress is worth the money but the colour is a disapointment for me. I think it will be going back I am afraid. The quality is so nice I think I may try the other colourway instead. M&S please show the true colour of clothes in your online pictures, it is very frustrating when shopping online when colours are not true to what is shown.

This was a lovely dress, the colour really nice and the fabric was good quality. Unfortunately it was loose around my waist so the fit didn't look right and sadly I had to return ii. I had ordered it to wear to a wedding and it would have been perfect!

Great dress! Sadly had to return it as the waist was too high for my very tall daughter (almost 6’). Would be fine for someone of average height. Good quality fabric and manufacture.

I sent this dress back. I was tempted because it was half price and if it had fit it would have been a great bargain. I bought for the style as I am bigger at the bottom than the top but it would not zip up past my waist. Very pretty dress for an occasion.

Sorry but this dress colour is something of nothing not pale and not a pretty colour.....very definitely not one that I would so returned the dress. In a nice colour it could be a pretty dress as lace is lovely.
