Kids’ High Top Trainers (5 Small - 12 Small)

These fasten with a zip and velcro across the top. The "laces" are elasticated. While I can understand the appeal of this, as children can theoretically put on their own shoes more easily, in reality it makes for a shoe that doesn't fit very well. Last year's design had two strips of velcro (my daughter had the unicorn ones) and it meant they were a much nicer fit. Additionally, these are much narrower than last year's design. This is disappointing, as my daughter has a wide foot and just could not get her foot inside. I'd love to see width fittings please M&S, even if you only offered regular and wide. You have some lovely designs, but most of them just aren't the right shape for us.
