Geometric Belted Midi Shirt Dress

I loved the look and feel of this dress, and the top half was a very good fit. However, I am going to have to return it - the problem is the excess of material from the waist down which made the whole thing most unflattering. A great pity because it is lovely material.

Such a lovely dress. Perfect fit, perfect length. One of those dress up or dress down dresses.

Smart dress for Spring. I first saw this instore last summer and was glad to be able to buy online with choice of sizes. I went for the smaller(10). Perfect length (5'7"). Good dress fabric, although I'm aware that viscose is tricky to iron - more pure cotton, please! I tried it on with one of my many M&S slips, which gave better 'movement' than the one provided. Great style - very retro - reminds me of my school summer dress. Pockets please - then 5 stars!

Gorgeous pattern and fabric - lightness and colours perfect for spring. Will not crease so perfect given the pleats which stay beautifully and sleeve length fine. Sadly the length is not right for me - 5'2'' and the length isn't midi or shirt dress on the knee so had to return. Size 8 true to size. This dress would be stunning on a taller person!

Looking forward to wearing this dress when the warmer weather comes. It’s colour and design are bright and modern. Agree with other reviewers that a size smaller is the way to go. Like the separate under slip and although the sleeves were long for me, doubling the cuff up fixed it and still looked fine. Makes me feel stylish.

I bought this dress during the sale and I'm really glad I did. I know some reviews are hit and miss, but honestly this dress is gorgeous. It does come with an inner slip but as long as you wear nude underwear beneath you I think you can easily forgo the slip as I will be doing. The material is substantial and makes the dress look and feel more expensive than it actually is. I was unsure about the pleated skirt but it actually does work with the dress overall. I bought a size 12 as I am currently in between a size 10 -12 (lockdown pounds!!) and it fits like a dream; not too baggy and not too tight...honestly fits just perfect. It looks classy and timeless, would 100% recommend and would have been happy even if I had paid full price!

I am 5ft 3 and size 14, this dress fits perfectly, I cannot wait to be able to wear it. One slight issue is the lining which is separate to the dress, a bit awkward to get on but very comfortable once it is on. Material feels lovely.

Lovely dress size 16 / fuller figure 5ft7 and fits me with extra room . Can be dressed up/down. Purchased at reduced price / would not have paid at full price.

Have been searching for a shirtwaister dress for some time. Having read the reviews I ordered a size smaller than usual. To my delight it is a perfect fit. Thank you Autograph.
