Mercerised Funnel Neck Long Sleeve Top

I’ve worn m&s size 16 for years but this top is about 2 sizes too big. I just don’t know what is happening with their sizing. Needless to say it has been returned.

I thought this top might be too shiny but I was pleasantly surprised. Practical top, comfortable but nothing special and wouldn’t have paid full price for it.

I love the silkyness of the fabric. The colour is perfect rose pink. Unfortunately the style is big and baggy especially round the neck. Nearly returned it but paid very little in the sale.

As the M&S sale was on I decided to purchase a few items online one of which was this funnel necked top. Choosing the ivory colourway, I thought this would be a staple piece in my wardrobe. When the item actually arrived I held it up to the light. Very sheer fabric - perhaps a camisole top underneath would shield the bra. Lovely soft fabric and nice drape round the neck but the body was so wide. The online picture gave no indication that it would be so roomy. I returned the item.

Nice cosy jersey, just right for days with a chill in the air. The sleeves are a bit on the long side but easily turned back. realy good value for money.

I got this in the sale but would never pay full price for it. The funnel neck suits me fine as its for under pullovers but I honestly fully expected mercerised cotton - not viscose which feels cold and unwelcoming. The style is completely shapeless and the choice of colours was really poor. The black funnel necks had a narrower neck hence ending up with the ivory.

useful top but very large

I tried on a size 12 in store, which was too large. I ordered a size 10 for collection in store. I am delighted with the service offered.

I ordered size 10 as I had read reviews about large sizing.Fabric has a nice sheen but is very thin. I will only wear it under a short sleeved top.
