Floral Print Asymmetric Skirt

Bought online and got a size long, I’m 5’ 6”, so thought it would be ok. It was so long it was touching the top of my foot. Well it was on one side, the other side, unbeknown to me, is about 6 inches shorter on a panel for about 6 inches, so that piece was just the right length. I didn’t realise the hem would be so uneven, it’s not for me sadly as the rest of the skirt was lovely and fitted really well. I got it in the sale and it was a great bargain but I wouldn’t wear it so returned it, but if you can get on with the up and down hem, and extremely long length, then you will be really pleased with this.

If you told me this skirt had been made from off-cuts of material without a pattern I would have believed you. To make matters worse, the fit is small so I felt uncomfortable when I tried it on. This is by far the worst designed item I have ever ordered from M&S.

Ordered the skirt in the sale as I liked the colour and pattern of the material but, style-wise didn't like the handkerchief hem it felt odd. Price very good as in the sale but sadly I will be returning the skirt it's not for me.

Well, afraid I'm dissapointed. Material good quality, hung nicely, liked the pattern. The skirt fitted well around the waist however didn't like the asymmetric hem,it felt weird with just a square missing out of the hem. I'm only 5ft 4ins so the full overall length was far too long.

The photograph did not indicate the unevenness of the hem line. I'm only 5'5 and the front dipped right down to my ankles whilst the side panels were below my knee. Looked really odd on so I returned it.

I saw this in store and loved the material and unusual design also the fact that it was partly lined. Tried the log length on, and loved it as a maxi skirt, not realising it was supposed to be a midi (I do not like midi skirts, for me at only 5’3 tall, I think they look strange and old fashioned). My only issue now is to find a top to go with it, t-shirts are ok for a more casual look, but a would like a more dressy top in a very dark navy to match the skirt. A white or ivory top is ok, but need to ring the changes sometimes and so many white/ ivory tops are see-through and not for me. Please M&S could we have some plain tops to co-ordinate with your patterned skirts, trousers, etc.?

Everything about this skirt is perfect. For the price, the quality of the fabric is second to none and is even lined. I am a size 10 and 5'5" tall and the fit for me was excellent. The lowest drape fell to my mid-calf with just a small slit at the front. This skirt looks amazing and, most importantly, makes you feel amazing.

I’m not a fan of the asymmetric trend but was keen to add a few new skirts to my summer work wardrobe. I e bought the pink skirt too. This skirt is really pretty and fits well. There is a slim fitting and short fitted underskirt but the skirt has a lovely fit and flare style. There is a slit at the front and back but it is knee length on me and I’m 5’7” tall so absolutely fine. I will wear this frequently over the next few months.

Not what I expected at all. Too modern for an OAP and far too flouncy. Sent it back.

Nice little skirt that can be dressed up or down. Good value. Sizing came up a little small compared to other M&S skirts I have. Navy is very dark and almost black.
