Egyptian Cotton 230 Thread Count Crisp Bedding Set

Excellent value Egyptian cotton. Love the zip on the duvet cover save times doing up buttons or poppers!

Duvet and pillowcases were not wrapped in any way and as a result they had dirty marks on the edges. Also as I purchased a super king duvet cover I would have expected two super king pillowcases but no they were normal size. So I now have to purchase two super king pillowcases. Such a let down all round really.

Haven’t washed yet and satisfied with feel and look. Pillowcases for super king are a bit on small side so very tight fit on long pillows.

Bought this duvet cover set to use in the recent heatwave and absolutely love the crispness of the cotton and the colour of pure clean white. The weave of the fabric feels high quality with a very close weave, so even though they are only 230 thread count, they still feel substantial. The full length zip is a game changer when it comes to changing the bed, so much easier than trying to wrestle the quilt into a small hole with lots of buttons. I wouldn't say they were particularly easy iron, but they're pure cotton so what can you expect. Will definately be buying more.

Highly delighted with this bedding set, lovely colour.

After years of buying bedding from everywhere, I am now converted. Egyptian Cotton is definitely the way to go, it is super comfortable, keeps me both warm n cooler nights and cooler on sunnier days. The cold lout I bought (sage) is both calming and sleep inducing.

Even after washing, the whole set was stiff, scratchy and SO uncomfortable. Are these products not tested before selling them?! I even tried the bicarb/white vinegar trick to soften it up, but it made little difference. Not what I expect. I'll never buy M&S bedlinens again. What a shame.

This set washed well and, when hung out straight away, needed minimal ironing (ie it would only need a quick press if I was using it for guests - I didn't bother for me). It loses a point because the trim is actually a seam across the duvet cover and down the pillow cases so they can only be used one way up t- hey would be very lumpy on the other side) and, although I approve of minimum packaging in principle, this has only a card strip round it and my set arrived with black marks on. I decided to risk keeping it and the marks did wash out.

I am a little disappointed. Everything is good until they are washed. They dont iron well.
