Easy Iron Gingham Checked Shirt

Poor sizing either too tight or too big,not consistent unreliable sizing

Husband likes this collar style and a pocket. Like easy iron.

Bought 2 as my husband liked both colours. Sadly had to return them as the fit was quite strange. Medium size was fine at the neck and body but the shoulders were very big as though they would have fitted on the Large size of shirt. The fabric was rather thick and stiff, not much give to it. A bit disappointing for the price.

The cut of this shirt is terrible around the shoulder and upper arm. Too tight on the arm when stretching and baggy on the shoulder. I have never come across such a poor fit. Certainly not for for purpose.

Been buying M&S shirts for years, never had a problem, but the new improved fit may be ok for younger men but after a certain age when the waistline exspand’s they are not so good.

The XXL was a bit tight so my son swapped for the XXXL. Unfortunately as well as being bigger in the chest, waist and hips it was also much wider on the shoulders so looked ridiculous. Smaller sizes may be a better shape and the quality was good.

Bought a red and a navy for my 94 year old dad. Good fabric, soft... plus a slow spin and hanging eliminates ironing for my 87 year old mum! The only non-iron shirt I could find in the range, all the others are cotton or linen! Comparatively expensive but you get what you pay for. The only criticism is that 'Regular Fit' has changed to tighter in the body so it only just fits him. Initially, when this change was made, 'Relaxed Fit' was available which was the same as the 'old' 'Regular' fit, however, 'Relaxed Fit' has disappeared. Not privy to your customer profile but I don't see many men over 35'sh still with a pronounced waistline!

Bought this for my 20 yr old son and he is extremely pleased with the fit and material. It falls neatly and is lightweight and comfy.

Another example of M&S "New Fit" outcome. Have been buying M&S shirts for decades, but this new "new fit" regime does nothing for comfort and body movement. The back panel appears to have been reduced in size such that forward arm movement is constainmed. Do wish M&S would rectify their quality control over accurate sizing and return to providing a proper fitting shirt.
