Compact Powder Foundation 8g

This is so disappointing as I love this brand. It’s impossible to apply and cakes all over your face.

It’s a shame you’re not continuing with this compact

I may have made an error but i thought I was getting normal cream type foundation as I have twice before and when I found it to be a powder I gave it a try. Useless. I looked so 'made-up' and like some old women years ago when powder was abut the only thing going. I am getting on but have a a good skin and not too many wrinkles. With this I looked ancient and my wrinkle looked really bad. That's me, it may not be the same for others. As a result I only give it one star as the packaging, although quite heavy for what it is, is good. Saying all this, I do not recommend it.

Good foundation for combination or dry skin. Limited shade range for light skin. The lightest shade was still too dark.

I took a chance on this as I had to buy it online, guessing the colour & finish. Although other reviews helped. I’ve only tried it today, but so far it is everything I hoped for. I like applying makeup with a sponge, it goes on smoothly, & the coverage is good without being heavy. The colour is perfect, in fact you’d never know I was wearing make up. The case is attractive and convenient. If it had been unsuitable it would’ve been an expensive mistake. As it is it’s a worthwhile investment.

The oher reviews seemed to suggest this was a good foundation, so I thought I'd take a chance. I like these compact foundations for travelling...you don't have to bother with bottles/tubes and brushes. Having finished one by Elizabeth Arden, I thought I'd try this and I'm delighted. Colour is perfect, coverage is good (I don't like anything too heavy that sinks into my wrinkles!), not too drying, goes on well and lasts well. You can go for a dewy look or dust with powder for a more matte finish. It's also in pleasant, not over-the-top packaging.

Really pleased with the foundation, it has even coverage.

I have dry cheek patches, but an oily nose area, high colour from rosacea and quite open pores. This is the ONLY foundation that tackles all of my complexion issues at once. It is soft and velvety, not at all chalky, and sits beautifully on my skin, giving me an even tone all over. I love it and have bought it for a couple of years now. I even recommended it on Mumsnet recently to someone with the same skin as me.
